@@SansSwordsman honestly I didn't believe it either until I saw one of his videos where he was also actively reacting to the video at the same time (I think hyperlink, when he showed shock at the charting for Spamtons laughter). I'm a drummer myself, and this guy really inspires me to get better so I can do shit like this lol

@@SansSwordsman they're actually a real good instrument. They're fun to play, and very hard but rewarding to master when you start getting into the more advanced stuff. You can pull off some crazy stuff with them and they're pretty much the backbone of every song that has them, though you only really notice once they're taken out or you get a good ear for them. They're super underappreciated Also. It's a very good stress reliever to beat the shit out of something with a stick and somehow make _music_ with it. I have some. Yknow. Very slight anger issues. And nothing has helped me get through them more than playing the drums. There's also a lot of room for creative freedom with them. You can pretty much do whatever you damn well please during a song as long as it stays on tempo. And it's fun to do tricks in the middle of playing Yeah overall drums are pretty sick

@@monovailable Yeah I can relate to using it as a stress reliever one of the best parts for sure. Watching Whiplash was what got me interested in drumming and realizing just how important to songs it was, I found 8bitdrummer shortly after.
