Fun ride Lance. I’ll try to look up where you went as it’ll be great to follow your tracks! Some of the hills look a bit steep for me on my DR650. But you’ve done plenty of detours so that’s possible! Look forward to Part 2. Oh, good to know Bridal T is open!

Hey Lance, don’t be too embarrassed about riding through rivers the pansy way…..I do it all the time but doesn’t always keep my feet dry! Would be great if you have gpx files of your rides. I’m use GAIA GPS which works really well for planning trips. Kind regards.
@The_Apprentice_Adventurer Жыл бұрын
@@craigkennedy5328 hey buddy. Yeah sorry I’m the worst with GPX files and what not. I just pick areas of google maps and figure it out from there. Not ideal for others following lol. You’ll be sweet on the 650. Plenty of ways around the hills if need be.

Awesome vid like always. Additionally, I'm the one who mentioned before that fps seems lower then 30 in your vids. Now you changed something and it is 30/60 and you uploaded higher then 1080p so youtube uses different codec and all resolutions chosen (even lower ones) look better then when you only uoloaded 1080. Good stuff 👍

Ha ha the shit we go through to film a trip. I used to operate excavators in the pine plantations raking all those fallen trees up into rows so they can be burnt. We had 4 point harnesses in the machines just to keep Us in the seats. Soo steep, most of the time we slid down the hill, using stumps as a block. That second lot of pines you rode through are 10-15 years old so it takes a while for the pine trees to grow back ready for the first thinning harvest.

Thanks for the info. Good to know actually. It would be nuts working on a hill like that. Crazy stuff.

Great video. When I was travelling solo on the bike, I just carried a tarp and sleeping bag. I used to put the bike on the center stand and threw the tarp over the bike and made a triangle and placed the sleeping bag under the tarp and bag a few zzzzz's Just out of interest the myth or maybe not a myth is that if you have a dried up cow paddie you can light it and it keeps the mozzies away. But that might just be a myth.
@The_Apprentice_Adventurer Жыл бұрын
Mate it may work. I guess they use elephant poo as a mozzie repellent. I’ll have to try it next time.

Timber operations do suck, but at least the trees will grow back. It's much worse when the land gets covered with condos and shopping :(
