How to be confirm about the aortic valve cusp? i,e whether it is bi , tri or tetra when the echo window is poor. Can M mode on zoomed view of A valve be possible to get the confirm idea about the cusp? Please explain with video 🙏 Thank you.

Hello, you can assess the aortic valve cusps on the parasternal short axis views at the great vessels level. In that views you can see and count the number of cusps! I have a video on my channel about "STRUCTURES"... have a look.

What advice do you have for new tech struggling with getting images on some patients
@the_echo_lady Жыл бұрын
Hello Melissa, most of our patients are going to be tricky, so just keep practicing, learn how to optimise your image and recognise when a patient doesn't have suitable views and that's fine. Loads of things will interfere will the image quality and there is nothing we can do 🤷🏼♀️
