I will never laugh at spiders, bees or snakes. I'm allergic to what bit me (a wolf spider) and, if the wound doesn't heal, I'll need to have the body part amputated. My arachnophobia has increased times 20 since then. Heights OTOH don't bother me, unless we're taking off over water.
