Awesome! You can tell which unit you have by looking at the front metal plates on the opening of the tire. It will say TireFlip 180 or TireFlip 180 XL. Definitely give them a shot!

So... if a tire weights 400-500lbs... your only lifting like 120lbs... so my question is, if you loaded up to 180lbs, how much are you actually lifting? Just wondering if I should go for the xl....

Thanks for reaching out! The TireFlip 180® doesn't actually weigh 400-500 lbs. With a TireFlip 180 you're training range is from 100-160 lbs with weights. The TireFlip XL is 160-240 lbs with weights. Is it sturdy enough for the sledge hammer?

Hi Mr. Aleem. We don't recommend hitting the unit with a sledge hammer as there is a steel truss system underneath the tire. It's plenty sturdy but you dont want to damage the steel.

Yes we are familiar with the Most Fit Core Hammer. Its a great product but still can be very damaging to the TireFlip 180 as the user can generate tremendous force. I would suggest just striking the floor with that product as its intended to be used and flipping the tire independently. You will achieve the same or even better result as you are increasing the distance you are swinging the hammer. Its further down to the floor than the TireFlip 180.

My local gym just bought one of these. Because, having some crossfit dude grunting and screaming in the middle of a bunch of bikes and ellipticals doesn't seem weird at all. The concept is interesting but, it belongs in a crossfit gym or in the free weight area but, the guys in the weight room don't really want it in their way either. So, it basically only belongs in a crossfit gym which are like gymnastic training areas and usually have tons of floor space for full size tires. If not, they're doing it wrong.
