I can understand why Austin want to be more strict with the girls to a certail level. I guess he thinks “I know how boys are when it comes to girls” and all that stuff. BUT limiting girls with strict rules and “protecting” them from the boys own problems of not knowing how to behave doesn’t make the problems go away. You can’t blame teenage boys way to behave on the girls. Instead maybe STEEL should be the one to be strict with. I’m not saying that steel will be a boy like that cause I don’t think so, but in general the way of raising girls comparing to boys should be changed. It’s always “oh the boys can do whatever they want” and “the girls should be protected from the boys” BUT if we only gave the boys some limits from the beginning, we wouldn’t have to be so strict to the girls. No hard feelings Austin, I get that you don’t directly think like that but it is a way of thinking that almost everyone has deep down without questioning it bc that is how it has always been👏

I came here to say this!! I feel like its such a backwards, traditional and misogynist outlook to be more stricter on girls than boys. You keep the same energy for both girls and boys. Hot take: Parents should start teaching sons respect and boundaries towards girls more so than restricting daughters from what to wear, what to say, who they can date because of dangerous boys. So true! My dad was the same way, always telling my sister and I that we could not have boyfriends. I had a 5pm curfew when I was 16… And I’ve always hidden things from him including every single one of my boyfriends. Even now I’m 24 and live with my bf and my dad thinks I live alone.
