Edibles don't really get you high, not like that not like how smoking it does. It's more of a body high and relaxed feeling. That's why it's recommended for people with chronic pain. I have Lupus and have my medical marijuana card and I buy both. I like the edibles for daytime when I can't be high and have to function and than smoke at night when I can just chill. It's definitely not the same feeling.
