CP 2816 "Empress": The Chase in South Texas - Late May 2024

I chased 2816 from Zwolle, LA to Liberty, TX.

Canadian Pacific 2816 steam locomotive, pulling three Diesel-electic locomotives, and various passenger, service, kitchen, baggage, freight, etc along with Dome-Car, very nice to see. Beautifully restored CP steam locomotive, functional, upkept, and rest of train. Praises and cheers to the passionte, talented, skilled artisans and all involved at CP. The sights & sounds CP 2816 makes are much better than, "bells & whistles in any latest greatest car or gismo". CP 2816 steam venting, swish, Chug-Chug, Choo-Choo, whistles, horn, bells, lights, ... Wow, CP 2016 can go fast. Never knew steam locomotives could pull train of cars as fast as latest model of AMTRAK train. CP 2816 and train very nice to see along with Texas scenery. Well done planning to catch photo/ video of two Deisel-Electric locomotives BNSF, CP, and CP 2816 steam side-by-side. They are an added treat. Kudos to all for capturing videos of CP 2816 and train memorable events. 🎉🎉🎉 Thank you. 😊😊😊

Awesome, also I have an idea for a GFRA short. *Heritage* this is where Shawn goes to the Waycross paint shop, and gets repainted into the SCL heritage unit
