I was always skeptical of the high ratings Consumer Reports assigned to the Dyson bagless products. I just recently purchased the Bissell Cleanview Swivel Pet. It’s performed well for the price. I agree with your opinion on the attachments. All that’s needed is a hose with substantial suction and a sturdy single piece extension handle. An underrated feature is the push button cord coil. Great review of the Hoover. Looking forward to more household appliance product reviews.

Growing up in a conservative small town in the Midwest, certain topics were off the table. We were taught about many dangers in the world, but unfortunately, sexual health was not one of them. This ignorance left me unaware, vulnerable, and in a situation I would later deeply regret. Her name was Ashley, and we met at a local bar. She was an out-of-towner, someone exotic and full of life, a stark contrast to the quiet folks of my hometown. We hit it off immediately, and after a whirlwind romance, we ended up sharing more than just feelings… A few months after Ashley left town, I began to feel ill. It started with bouts of unexplainable fatigue, a stubborn fever, and rapid weight loss. I shrugged it off as a stubborn flu, but deep down, I knew something wasn't right. Visiting the town's physician, I requested a full panel of tests to be done. The results shocked me to my core. I was HIV positive. I was confused, angry, and scared. How could this have happened? We weren't drug users, and my limited knowledge led me to believe this was something that happened to other people, not me. I reached out to Ashley, but she had changed her number and disappeared from social media. I had no way to tell her about my diagnosis or find out if she knew about her status. I felt betrayed, abandoned, but most importantly, I felt guilty. Guilty because of my ignorance and because I may have unknowingly put others at risk as well. In the years that followed, I was diagnosed with AIDS. It was a difficult road, but it was a road that led me to advocacy. I understood then that this wasn't just my problem; it was a global health issue. My ignorance was shared by many others in my community, and I decided to make it my mission to change that. I became a speaker, a teacher, and a crusader for HIV/AIDS education. I contracted AIDS through heterosexual contact, an issue often overlooked or ignored in society. Yet it can happen to anyone. It happened to me. I'm sharing my story not for sympathy, but for awareness. To all who read this, understand this: Anyone can contract HIV, regardless of their sexual orientation, their gender, their race, or their location. Protect yourself, educate yourself, and never let ignorance dictate your actions.

I will say the swivel head gives you some freedom for sure but I'm here for the power and reliability not convenience. If I can get 3 of these for the price of one of those I can't justify it. As far as attachments go I can only find a use for the thin beveled edge attachment. Good for the couch and corners. Please review swiffers vs conventional mops next. Thank you for your time.

Genius episodes lately boys. A bit not being a bit, turns into a bit. This is some Tim and Eric shit without even trying. You go me back after cumtown with this EP.

I use 2 vacuums, for work and for home: Proteam (#107733) and Bissel (#3059). The Bissel is a solid vacuum for the avg person. - Minimal attachments. There's a hard plastic crevice tool with a brush extension you can slide back. - It has a wand release as well. I'm on the shorter side and can easily vacuum the edges of my 10 ft ceilings - Hose easily detaches from the wand for more flexible vacuuming needs, like windows tracks - Pet hair attachment, eh, I hardly use it. A damp paper towel or rag works better. - The carpet vaccuum works well. There's a slide to adjust for low to plush carpet. It also has lights near the base, pretty sweet. - 2 prong plug 👍 - It's easy to take apart to clean or unclog My one complaint is the length of the cord, a bit on the short side, imo. But at the end of the day, probably any vacuum you get is much better than a shitty Dyson.

my dyson top of the line vacuum stinks , it gets worse and worse everytime i use it even with the silly maintenance routine. its 2 years old but it dont work so good no more. and i think it costed like 700 bucks. there is this plastic latch on the engine of the thing that attach to the various heads / pipes. I dont beat on that thing but the latch has been knocked off its angle by a few degrees. So now i gotta negotiate with it to get it attached to anything. and it clogs from dust every time so i gotta pop it open and clear it then reattach that dang old damaged latch.

I inherited a Kirby vacuum from some dead relative I think and it’s model name is “The Ultimate G”. Pretty sweet vac. Unfortunately I live in a dogshit apartment with carpet that isn’t stapled anywhere except the corners so no vacuum works on it.
