Great video. I'm planning to go to Orlando this summer and I did the same thing as you: I booked with Alamo and we're planning to use the visitor toll pass. My question is, did you have to talk to someone to disable alamo's TOLL-by-PLATE system so you can use your own? Thank you very much

I own an ipass system for Chicago and no... I did not have to disable this because it's a completely separate system that scans the tag you hang on on rear view mirror (versus ipass scanning your license plate( I hope this answers your question! Have fun! -Ali 😍🍷

When u skip the counter, how does alamo knows that u want to decline their own toll pass service? I will rent next week with hertz, but i am a little confused about it. Thx

You do know you can move your steering wheel downwards, right? 😁 But good to know - pretty hard to understand you with your pal also talking. But thanx for sharing. Helpful. I wish I'd known about this previously. We have always paid cash at the booth but some roads don't have that option and we went on a toll by plate road - no prior warm ngs - once we were on, that was it! So expecting a $25-50 fine thru Dollar car rental! 😳 Happened to us in Miami several years ago. The roads in Miami are kibdblowing - 12 lane roads are not uncommon! Nightmar.

Some more information about skip the counter would have been good. It's in the video title but it didn't get much air time. What do you mean you pay more for it? I reserved a car and the skip the counter option was just included in it if I want to do that. Weird you had to pay.

Meaning it's more expensive than other companies that don't offer this service. Shopping around you will be able to see this right away. #1 rule of travel... you always pay extra for convenience.

We have always been able to use Magical Express in the past and have never had any issues with our arrival/bags. I honestly don't look forward to having to figure out all of the other broken systems :(

That is crazy that the account disappears if you are past the arrival time especially when it’s at the airport. No one can say for sure how long it may take to get through immigration and get your bags. May sound like a stupid question but do you need a data connection on your cell phone to open the app, scan the QR code on the machine to get your pass and put the rental car licence plate registration on the app?

Whoaaa, borderline useless info. Chatter between two persons gave me what I just said, borderline useless info! Not trying to be mean, but watching you two mouthing words really told me nothing on why Visitor Toll Pass should be used or not.
