for choir of one i believe the firerate actually increases if you tap fire it with the right rhythm, it's a little bit faster, maybe not enough to shift the balance of the rankings but a fun tidbit of information otherwise (applies to both projectile and hitscan modes)

Thanks for this video. I havent enjoyed any damage rotations since the double slug meta during DSC launch or the Izi + Precision Rocket during Vow. Those felt fun to use because it's mainly gunplay. Since then, the damage rotation metas have trended towards ability usage or fragments to take advantage of reload tech. I've just opted to use consistent, easy strats because learning a certain swap meta seems useless due to inevitable nerfs. For example, the sanguine swap, while it is easy to use, will probably get nerfed going into episode 3 due to the seemingly unintended nature of it. For now, an eternal warrior + star-eater tcrash with bitter-sweet seems like the easiest brain off pick with the current artifact mods.

I wonder how Bungie will tackle elemental damage buffs in the artifact from next episode onwards, especially since Sanguine's rework made everyone a bit more aware of the double dipping effect on weapons inside your own well. It also doesn't help that Facet of Courage boosts weapon damage inside a well, alongside Prismatic Warlock having a fairly easy way to apply sever/unraveling and therefore proc this fragment. All people have to do each episode is switch the super of their prismatic swap to match the current trendy heavy weapon (as long as it does light aligned damage), and then just go all out in combining ability AND weapon damage buffs to boost their weapons.

For Euphony, I really like to pair it with a cascade gl because unlike Cloudstrike which requires a couple of shots to proc cascade point, Euphony only requires either just 1 full burst of crits or only 2 crits of the burst, but can't remember.

I’ve been using bastion on song of flame with a apotheosis syntho class item. While syntho won’t up your melee damage in super it does in transcendence and apotheosis with gaining more ignitions in song of flame with bastion. I wanna test its potency on normal solar with the option to swap speakers sight into apotheosis for damage phases. Potentially dawn chorus as well.

Adept trials weapons get 2 perks in the last column. You can get bipod+BnS as those 2 perks. You can rally on bipod and swap to BnS for extra free rockets (this is likely unintended, but it does currently still work).

I've got one, and Euphony procs Cascade Point with a single burst. Shame Aegis couldn't fully test it so idk how it's DPS compares, but the non-surge matching Bitter/Sweet apparently only did a little better with Cascade, so it probably is the same story. Cascade at least FEELS quite good though with it. If nothing else, Cascade Point makes it fantastic at nuking minibosses/champs in Nightfalls and stuff.

Ex Diris has a frenzy mechanic where if you reach critical health it shoots faster (or you can build up its fire rate by doing damage with it), in the Well one I actually didn't get myself low enough so it was kinda pointless (although it ended up saving my BnS timings, which is a bit more complicated to explain), but in the Thundercrash one I shot twice which was enough

The weakening effect of grenade launchers, does it stack with the blinding buff obtained with arc weapons? I know Liturgy can run disorienting grenades and Ex Diris can blind on its own so I'm wondering if Bitter/Sweet with those two benefit from it. Is weakening 15% and blinding 8%? Ed: One thing you might have not considered: Empowering Rift on Warlocks STACK with Sanguine Alchemy and Well of Radiance, that's another 20% added to the mix xD

Blinding buff (Arc Compounding) is a stacking buff, so it will stack with everything. Weaken is a standard debuff so it stacks with everything else besides standard debuffs (basically just weaken, tractor, and tether are considered standard debuffs). Liturgy disorienting grenades don't actually blind (blind is a subclass verb while disorienting is a special other property). The blinding artifact mod is a 15% boost not 8%. Empowering rift does not stack with well of radiance. It is considered an empowering buff (radiant, well, empowering rifts, bubble, lumina, etc.) so the game just defaults to using whichever is the highest buff %. (Empowering used to stack with radiant way back in season of the haunted, but that was an unintended bug). Sanguine on the other hand is a 10% buff that stacks with everything. You can find somebody called Court who maintains a thorough spreadsheet/infographic of various stuff that do and don't stack together.

To you're point at the end about ability damage leveling certain rotations, I think that is probably a big win for entry level blueberries. A lot of people are still stuck in that "have ghally or kicked" mentality of optimal DPS for pulling LFGs, and the idea that you can meaningfully contribute without doing a worlds first level optimizations is great for the community. "Hey man, just phoenix dive to proc helion, cast your nova bomb, and use whatever you have" still results in enough damage that an LFG team doesn't have to 5 man damage, and thats pretty nice.

Unrelated question, but have you ever tested the total damage of Twilight Arsenal? By this I mean the 3 throws, followed by the 3 relics with 9 light attacks and one heavy each.

He has twilight arsenal numbers in full in his spreadsheet. Super does 683,866 Light attack does 28,481 Heavy does 106,257 683,866+9*28,481+3*106,257 = 1,258,966 damage That being said the axe relics have such a long animation that you should really only use them to refresh weaken (via heavy attack) and the light attack is basically never worth using over just shooting more weapons.
