Omg my whole family has been sick since winter break. I’m so tired and nauseous all the time from no sleep 😂. I woke up at 8 am to clean puke, bathe the kids, feed them, wash blankets, and then passed out until just now. So glad to see an upload from you. I needed some time to myself 😂

I was wondering why you are saving for a freeze dryer. I don't really know anyone that has one , or what you can do with it for a family. I know fancy restaurants use them. Is it for meal prep?

Yes it’s just another way to store food and it has a longer shelf life than frozen food. We recently purchased half a cow from a local farmer and that takes up a significant amount of freezer space so it doesn’t leave a lot of room for other things

I made a separate Birthday/Holiday and just have Jan - Dec in that envelope and I added a Kids envelope that has their allowance, hobbies, back to school essentials, clothing, shoes, hair, beauty, fun. I have to have a cash binder for each major category.

Question: Could you explain why you cash stuff your sinking funds instead of just transferring them into a high yield savings account and let it earn money until you need them? I've seen it done your way and the other way and just wanted to hear your justification before deciding what I wanted to do. Thanks for your answer.

Because it’s 10000x harder for me to spend cash (mentally) 🖤 We have money in a high yield savings account but this method keeps us from spending (we’re both big spenders)

Hello Emily. I’m new to your channel. I love the idea of cash stuffing. This is very new to me. We have 7 adult children who are all grown and not living at home so we don’t have as much cash stuffing to do as you do. We don’t spend an over abundance of money every month do own a business. I would like to do the cash stuffing for this to be able to pay off our loan and become debt free, which I have a head start on. I will be watching your channel to get ideas on how to do this.

I'm a new subscriber, and I'm also new to cash stuffing and the cash envelope system. I'm really excited for this journey, and I've already got $500 in my sinking funds just since January 1st. I knew the stock wasn't restocked, but do you know when the A6 poppy wallet will be restocked? I loved the design, and I have my heart set on getting that one.
