I challenge you to take the Clozemaster 10 languages 10 questions each challenge. Pick any 10 languages video yourself taking the challenge and inspire us. (whether you have studied are familiar with or not). This is a fun opportunity to showcase your talent with a little bit of humility proving you too are human and still a language learner. You can put the flags of the 10 languages you choose for the challenge in both the thumbnail and the title and tag the video as #takingtheclozemaster 10 languages challenge. While also tagging the languages of the challenge. When choosing from a diverse variety of languages consider this, to include some of those you're familiar with, those that you are not, and those that you will later learn. Choosing to include a conlang like Interlingua and an ancient language like Latin will keep the challenge diverse while bringing recognition to these languages (you may surprise yourself). Consider getting a hold of Clozemaster they may be interested in sponsoring the video. We as a community of language Learners need a challenge that we can all appreciate and try together. To get the most out of the video challenge adjust the settings as follows: put the skills to listening, the question count to 10, and the mode to multiple choice. Then you can adjust the account to dark mode (as it's more attractive) and the default speed to 75% for better hearing the questions. Doing a dry run will ensure all the settings are correct. Keep a notepad by your side to keep track of the language scores. Before you end the video it would be nice if you encouraged other polyglots and language Learners to take up the challenge. Buenas suerte Carpe Diem السلام عليكم

Hello. I'm a language professor and I would like to help you out a bit. There're many ways to study a language. AI can be a great companion for leaning, but you need to know what needs to be learned. Language is not learned by blocks of words. So, my suggestion would be to create a prompt that will, first, help you understand what you need to learn, and then go for it with AI. I would divided it into these sections: grammatical objectives, communicational objectives and lexical objectives. If you are learning an European or Asian language, I suggest you to ask Chat GPT to create a program based on The Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). That will structure your classes and will help you set feas goals that will allow you to get a language certification, if you are interest in doing so. Best of luck.

Tried this today and I am loving the AI back and forth conversation. It feels like I'm talking with a real person. And I need consistent practice throughout the day to become fluent.

This is so funny that you made this video as I have started using ChatGPT to help improve my Norwegian. The written component is crazy strong, but, as you said, the pronunciation is wonky. I wonder if they are working on that. I would find it particularly interesting if they could develop it far enough that it could also coach a person on pronunciation. I really like the ability to ask questions in Norwegian and have it correct my Norwegian and explain what I did wrong.

The next version of chatGPT will be a huge progression. The current one doesn’t have AI analyze your voice at all, it just does speech-to-text and sends the text to the AI. The next version though has already been announced and demonstrated with the ability to respond directly to audio without a text layer, which is super cool and way better for translation and language learning
@wunderlichdrive5 ай бұрын
@@jmunt Do you mean 4o? I have tried it and the pronunciation hasn’t improved yet
@jmunt5 ай бұрын
This version of voice chat is not analyzing your audio directly, it’s just using speech-to-text, and its probably assuming you’re using English so that’s why it’s saying you’re spelling things wrong. Idk if you have to change your keyboard or your whole device into the target language for voice chat to work properly. The next version of GPT will have direct voice analysis though so you can talk in whatever language and switch languages seamlessly, I’m very excited for that

Been using many things to learn languages, once this is more accurate, that is a solid way of teaching, as far as how productive its good for conversations, I asked for a stimulation and I gave the AI an age and background and occupation, then if I got stuck in practicing language I asked how to to say "blank" in target language and it explained in english then switched to target language to include in dialogue. Only thing if you want learn things slowly its not for you, AI lists things incredibly fast, it only slows down if in simulation conversation. I am impressed might actually get chatgpt plus now I am convinced.

Hi Andy. I commondeered someone elses language prompt and generalised it so u can learn any language, i also reduced it to syntax so its only 950 characters and you can finetune it how u want it. Note that The first response we will get sounds weird only because we havnt chosen a language yet and its translating nothing but once we choose one it works great. Il leave the prompt in a reply to this one for easy copy paste
