It is now (since the invention of tv) often the lack of vocabulary that makes lower classes a victim of bordem and brutishness leading to drug use and sexualisation. A wider vocabulary means deeper word play in conversation leading to higher wit and imaginations.

Call me a doomer... haha. If everyone has the tools then we are all the same and basically it is going to make us all need to compete at such a high and breakneck level. It all comes down to the fact that resources are limited, we all cannot consume like the US. So basically I think all this stuff just makes almost everyone go closer to and resemble "an average", because it is going to be difficult to outperform the tools: people using the tools will all start to resemble each other's output at some point. So some people in the world, sure it is great. I'm not 100% sure this is so great for people in the developed West though, but there is probably not a choice. My guess would be living standards globally rise but we basically see a new "Industrial Revolution" and basically a lot more unemployment and a lot more people centered at making the "average income" globally (possibly from UBI, if not from what I said where at some point all peopel using the tools have similar output/productivity in the near future). I'd guess high unemployment in the West so this is why I'd not necessarily say it's good, and that a "rising tide lifts all boats"
