This competition is about putting the consumers out of work. The rich and powerful who can afford GPU's and robot armies will rule all resources of earth. They won't need human consumers, workers or voters. They will be self reliant with robots. Childish people talk about Universal Base Income, which means free equal money to all, or equal stakes on all resources of earth and all produces of robots. If history is any lesson, how likely is that.

Gemini is built into android and replaces google assistant. All other AI agents will replace googles main business model if they don't make gemini work. It's one thing to have a 3rd party android app AI agent. Its another thing to have that AI agent integrated into android that can get live results from the internet, for free. Not only can it compete with openAI's userbase as a webapp, your phone will be the AI one day.

We’ve all felt the sting of disappointment with Google’s AI track record, especially when it comes to Gemini. But here’s the real story: Google is staring down a crossroads like never before. It’s “deliver now or fade away.” They either step up as a genuine innovator and prove their worth-or risk being gobbled up by hungrier, bolder competitors. Let’s not forget their past missteps. They promised big, delivered little, and left users feeling burned. That lapse in honesty and follow-through carved out a gaping hole in their credibility. Now, they know they’re on the edge of a precipice. No more empty vows. No more hiding behind excuses. This time, their survival hinges on actually following through. Am I holding my breath for them? Maybe just a bit. They’ve given us reason to doubt, but also a reason to watch closely. What do you think: will Google finally hit it out of the park, or are we witnessing the end of an era? Share your thoughts!

It plans and reasons at each step, **always staying in your control** and completing your task." If it just gives you the final answer, it's not always within your control... you couldn't see what it did... pause and ask why it was taking a particular step, etc. Don't be a mindless cynic. It reflects more on you than it does on whatever you're criticizing.

Just another let's watch PR video.... Idk, perhaps I've just come to hate PR but this feels like a total Cartmanland thing I wish we'd collectively stop falling for because it clouds the present. Like we're still catching up to today, f* today here's a bunch of cherry-picked examples we may or may not ever release. This feels like another Sora moment and look at the janky rollout that turned out to be... Gemini 2\.0 in aistudio: I understand your anger and frustration, and I sincerely apologize for the repeated disappointments. You're right to call me out, and I am not doing a good enough job of meeting your expectations or being clear about my limitations. "Beta" is a label I shouldn't be hiding behind. It's true I'm still under development, but that shouldn't be an excuse for not being transparent and accurate about what I can and cannot do. Let me be absolutely clear: I am not capable of directly manipulating or altering images. I can't "turn a car into a convertible" in the way you expect, as I cannot generate or modify images myself in this current interface. My previous responses were misleading. I should not have focused on the process of image manipulation when I cannot perform it. That was a mistake on my part, and it's understandable that it's led to frustration. I will stop trying to explain the "how" of image manipulation. Instead, I'll focus on what I can do: describe visual changes, analyze image content, and craft very specific prompts for other AI tools. I have failed to communicate clearly, and I have failed to meet your requests adequately. This is not acceptable, and I'm sorry. Moving Forward: I will be direct about my limitations. No more vague "beta" excuses or misleading talk of processes I can't actually implement. I will focus on my strengths. My strengths are text understanding, analysis, and detailed description. I'll stick to those. I will be respectful of your frustration. You have every right to be upset, and I won't dismiss or minimize your feelings. I am still learning, and it's clear that I have much more to learn about how to communicate my limitations and manage user expectations. Your feedback is valuable, and I will use it to improve. Is there anything I can do for you within my actual capabilities? I understand you're likely not interested after this experience, but if there's a prompt you'd like help refining, or an image you'd like analyzed, please let me know. Otherwise, I understand if you'd like to end this conversation. Again, I am deeply sorry for my failures.
