Watchmen Part I - Audio Drama (Artwork included)

Hello everyone, This year marks the third year anniversary of this passion project of ours. While I was the overseer, director and editor of the project as a whole - this ambitious project was held up by the lojality and talent of all my fellow actors involved, assistant editors and composer - all who worked for free, including me. This work would not exist without them and their undying dedication. They deserve all the love they can get in the comment section and beyond it. Some of them have even gone professional since then, and I wish them the best of luck. The idea to craft the project was born from the possibility of making the most true adaptation of Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons seminal pages - and I believe we came quite close! We'll leave that to all of you to decide, however. I have always also found Zack Snyder's film adaptation - albeit good - not a representive adaptation of the source material - and the prospect of making my own version had always been intriguing to me. And I'm glad we got to make this first part and put our stamp on it. We wanted the project to feel like a true crime noir, and not lean too much into the superhero action-movie feel that I felt the film adaptation did. And yes - many have asked me throughout the years to see a continutation of the project to finish off the story. The issue lies in time these days. Managing this project as a whole was a part time job in itself - and it's very difficult to find the time to work on a highly demanding project which provides no financial gain whatsoever. While making the first part was highly rewarding creatively - it was very difficult to keep the wheels going on it. I think most of you can understand my position. We'll see. Maybe one day we'll all reconnect - those in the cast who are willing to do it, that is - and finish off this project, but only time will tell. I would want to do it, and I believe most of those involved want to do it - it's just a matter of when. Until then - if "then" even comes around - I hope you can all watch and rewatch this project as it stands right now - and feel our passion for the source material radiating through it.

It's so good to hear from you, director! What a pleasant surprise it was to revisit this video and see that you had recently commented. I sincerely hope you're doing well. I loved being a part of this project, and it's one I would love to see eventually completed. If we were ever to reconnect and decide to finish off what we began, I would be wholly down. I completely understand however, the challenge to find the time to continue such an undertaking. Whatever you decide to do regarding this project, you have my full support. I was reminded lately of how much I enjoyed your work with this classic comic book. I love how you have gathered so many great unknown voice actors and created this fanstatic atmosphere with "just" pictures. The choice of music is perfect, the original score that Chasing Shadows did for this series and the amazing voices from the cast. You have managed to capture me in a way I didn't imagine would happen. I'm aware that it might not happen, but I'm dying to see you doing the rest of the comic book and I can only imagine the work you're putting into this. I can't believe it man, but even in this half-made state, this beats the official out of the water, and not to diss the original motion comic, their dubbings of Rorsarch and Dr. Manhattan were incredible...
