This is a man preaching about what we have to hear. He exalts God all the time and humbles himself. What a good example.

Liquid Cryo the ending?

Shawn, I think that's referring to what begins at 46:00. Pastor Chan is being a faithful and true witness, walking in a measure of humility, growing in Christ with transparency, for our sakes, imo. I pray God continues to bless and keep him to his (and our) health and joy, and to His glory. The Western Body of today so desperately needs ones such as these--perhaps this is always the case.

@@LibertyNotLicense Love you! It did start at 46min... I will say in short; if someone wants to talk babble or "tongues", then go ahead, but when people say that it determines if you are saved or not, then I call heresy. I disagree with Francis when we are supposed to be unified in all denominations. Just as in my short example above, if it is not Jesus and Jesus alone, Ephesians 2:8-9. I will rebuke you and that is biblical. Do not divide Jesus in scripture and I will have no need to be zealous about my God whom I adore. Jesus is King!

Very true I understand completely, somewhat ironic but maybe those are the types of believers Abba is calling you to talk with and understand/counsel. And I agree with the first comment, I almost stopped watching 15min in and that would've been my loss because God and Jesus most definitely came through their Spirit to teach and comfort and love and convict and unite

Didnt Francis read a verse about Jesus praying and crying aloud and He was heard for His reverence? Like...more volume doesn’t mean less reverence.
@NateMP5 жыл бұрын
@@aaronbopst8764 that's very true there are very few absolutes in this world outside the Word of God, but what he was trying to say is shouting and cheering for a celebrity preacher is not an example of revering our Heavenly Father and is close to being a contradiction considering the context

It's not only by grace that we can be saved. There are other verses that God speaks about to understand the big picture of salvation. So it's Not by faith alone, not by works alone, not by baptism alone, not by repentance alone, not by grace alone. If it were by grace alone(by itself) then the other verses wouldn't be in the Bible. Come on people. Read it for yourselves. Get the big picture. Believe all of it, not just the parts that you want to believe. Matt 4:4. On every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord 2 Timothy 3:16 All scriptures are God-breathed

Dale Bowley, I totally get where your coming from. But, I think we can miss the big picture and focus on what isn't important. It's not so much as crossing every T and dotting every i, but more so, responding & applying the word that is spoken. Francis Chan is the Lord's anointed and has a track record of it. Why judge a man's 30 minute sermon? When we should judge a person's 30 year ministry? and look at what they have been saying for the last 10, 20, 30 years because it's not the hearer that get's blessed but more so, the do'er that gets blessed. I read a recent quote that convicted me by Timothy Keller, " when you are pharisaical towards the Pharisee, your still a Pharisee". I hope you get the Big picture, we are all in this together.

I believe this sermon was a reminder to not just cling to grace but also abide. Some forget this, they quench the holy spirit. Then ask for grace. Or think that it all about works. Trust gods will for you. Try to hear what he want to say through this sermon. Gid bless you.
