Im an optometrist, do not squeeze or lance your eyelid, that can irritate the lid, and potentially spread the infection making it worse. The only thing you can do to treat at stye is warm compress with a Bruder mask for 10 min 2-3 times per day and take a gram positive antibiotic such as erythromycin or keflex. You can prevent them by doing regular warm compresses and using lid scrubs to keep your lash area clear of any debris and bacteria. Do not put random drops in your eyes, I know Glenn mentioned colloidal silver, but I have never heard of that in any of my years of training and upon further research I cannot find any scientific studies that back it’s efficacy in preventing styes so I recommend not wasting your money and just going to your optometrist if you’re really concerned.
