@@woundedidiot429 Nah it's the classic problem of having a ton of ideas about characters and places, monsters and treasures, strange worlds teetering on the edge of disaster, and densely-packed political intrigues between warring states, but _NO IDEA_ about what the story being finished would look like. Take The Boxer. Great manhwa. Big sads. I love it. You'll love it too. From the first few chapters you know what "the end" would look like, and you really want that for Yu. You _really_ want that so badly for him. Even the *Domain Expansion: 1000 Chapters* of One Piece has _in the name itself_ what "the end" would look like: finding the One Piece. Whether or not that materializes or it runs down the DBZ ride into alternate dimensions and various stages of different color power-ups is another matter, but the end of the story is right there. Hunter X Hunter just suffers from the Shonen problem that DBZ perfected into a form of zombified immortality. Goal: Be a hunter, maybe even a hunter hunter. Being a hunter is cool and allows for all the plotlines and story beats. The goal is no longer to be a hunter it's to not-die and have interesting things happen around them. Then you're looking at the story you've been writing and drawing for a decade and you think "man, I really should have made the guy nuking himself the end because this just became a monster-of-the-week sticom."
