Great video. I already have a Saragosa 6000HG but was looking to downgrade as I feel like it's a little big on my 9'6" SaltX2 rod. Would you recommend the 4000 or 5000 to pair with my 9'6? I felt a 4000 SaltX 2 which paired nicely, but I'm not sure if that is closer to a 4000 or 5000 on the new stradic since it did seem on the larger side for a 4000.

Hi there! We would recommend a 4000 Stradic SW for this. The best way to determine the size reel is to take the rod into a store, and feel the difference between a 4000 and 5000SW Stradic to decide.

@@TheAnacondaAdventure Thank you! I wish I could, but the new stradics are not in the US yet :( I tried a 5000 Stradic FM but I'm not sure if that is the same size as a 5000 Stradic SW.

Nice video,i have already saragosa 5000 and i want to take a biiger size real 8000 for shore jigging.what do you suggest ?saragosa 8000hg or stradic 24 8000hg?i think stradic is 10 grams lighter but 70 euros more!.

Hi there! The stradic is going to be easier to cast over and over again as its lighter but the saragosa is more of a robust brute reel. We would suggest to head into your local store (bring the rod you are using) and put both reels on the rod and see what feels best in your hand as both reels are very capable.

Hi there! It’s a lighter reel to the Saragosa in the equivalent sizes making them great for casting stick baits and reducing the strain on your arms. This is the primary difference, but it also has the cosmetic difference.

Yep, I went and bought one for myself but when I open the bail arm, I am still able to rotate the reel slightly, is that normal or a feature? It doesn't stop but still can rotate.
