This episode has been widely acknowledged, as it should have. What makes the interview great is its realism. Chris was either honest or expressed his take on the behind the scenes of the wrestling industry. There were no "politically correct" comments. It was just real. It had an old school interview feel, for me, because, again, this interview kept it real. Simple as that.

I know it's not something to be proud of, but you have got to respect the fact he overcame his addictions too. Not only can you respect him as a wrestler and athlete, but you gotta respect him as a man too. Went to the absolutely lowest of the lows and came back, that is just so unbelievably difficult and rare to see with wrestlers. Truly an all time great and 100% on the Mount Rushmore of wrestlers.

It's a shame these two never had a World title feud. They only had the short feud when Kurt was starting out, but a more experienced Angle vs. Jericho in 2005 would have been a classic.

Because Austin likes to veer off to long into his past glory days, About bein on the road, in recycle stories at times. Kurt keeps his questions short in sweet, & the host answering them with in the perfect timing, without the co host rambling way to long answering one question. Jericho did Phenomenal.

A lot of people love to paint Hulk Hogan as the greatest wrestler but in my opinion the Attitude Era produced the greatest wrestling personas in all of wrestling history. Top greatest are definitely Kurt, Rock, Undertaker, Austin, Jericho and HHH. Hogan and Sheik and Macho Man and Ultimate Warrior were great but but the Attitude Era guys took the business to a whole other level and they all transcended the company. All 6 I named also were able to reinvent their characters constantly because a lot of it was really them so as they change so do their characters. It was story telling and star power at its absolute best. Yeah Hogan got a lot of hype back in his day but to me those 6 guys are the epitome of wrestling. All wrestlers now want to be like any of those 6 names I just mentioned. And kinda HBK too but he was injured for like 75% of the Attitude Era by the time the Rock was a big star in 97-98, HBK was retired…

Jericho is truly one of the greatest guys to ever be in the business. Whenever you see a gofundme posted for a wrestler, Jericho is one of the same people you see constantly that donates and helps people out. Not only that, but you can see he really does care about the business and the people in it and no longer in it. I know it probably wasn't just Jericho who managed to get the Owen Hart Cup sorted out. But he didn't HAVE to do that, he wasn't obligated to do it, he did it out of respect for Owen and his career. He even talks about Benoit, which... I know is a very sensitive subject, but AT LEAST he is open about it and doesn't shy away from discussing him.
