​@@Golf3r1997 Absolutely. Went through some hard grind yesterday to unlock the Cobra bag and their additional stuff like clubs etc. I'm so hooked with the challenges, tons of stuff to do. Head to head, relive historical moments in golf, learn how to properly use the different strokes and clubs. And the best way to get those tasty XP! I guess 70 % of my about 40 h of game time, I only played these challenges.

The big thing I like about the playing partners is in 2K23, sometimes your playing partner would have something really BS happen... like hitting a par 5 in two shots into a 20mph wind... or sometimes oddly having a 3 putt from like 10 ft away... and now they can't hide behind it, you get to watch what actually happens.

The real grind lies within the challenges though! They're absolutely brutal at times, but also pretty rewarding! Definitely my favorite part of the game so far, despite some serious rage quit moments! 😂

Pretty sure you set up your golfer to have a fade bias, so when you miss shots they'll usually be off to the right. I have draw bias on mine, and most of my misses are over drawn to the left. Also when you're in the challenge pages, you can hit triangle or square to preview the rewards for that specific challenge. Highly recommend upping your approach stats to unlock the different approach shots - they make a HUGE difference especially in tougher conditions.

Went from never swinging straight in 2k to almost perfectly straight hits on this game every time lol. Also weird there’s random rng mechanics (even tho they told him there wasn’t). Feels like things just happened and you don’t have much control on the ball. Seems wild to do that to a game about precision.

It's different that's for sure. You can hit a perfect/perfect and the shot could be slightly offline. It's like a simulation and less of a game where you can lawn dart every time. Not sure how many people will feel about that?

Ai playing partners on EA are awesome. Makes the play through more enjoyable as you get to watch their strategy, it feels realistic, and isn’t completely bugged. Kudos to ea on the career mode front. 2k, while I know they have course creator and societies, they really need to put resources into fixing the issues and overall presentation of career mode - it’s not even close to this. Their rivalries mean barely anything and there’s no context at all. The again and again bunker shot or fairway iron holeouts (for par!) show me that career mode is low on the priority list (….even with having a follow up game two years later)which is fine, because now we have an alternative in this. Lastly, I think you have a good AI difficulty set up. Rahm won this tournament at -27 with others at -26, -25 and so on. So I think your probably on the right trail for scoring authenticity 👍🏻

You're doing more of the progress with EA than the 2K game. I remember you saying you wanted to take it slow, by 6 episodes in you were winning majors etc. I feel like with the EA game it's going to take you a fair bit to max out, which is good. Probably take 6 months to get full power after maxing every other attribute

Love playing partners! Also ngl I turn on spin and boost for these challenges cause some of them get on my nerves. I'm a Titleist guy and one of the last ones is hitting shots on par 3s within "2%" of the hole. Yeah cause I can just 5 iron and 3 wood on a dime to stop cause the pin is kissing the front bunker of TPC Boston

I love how my playing partner spieth is a perfect golfer and won at -40 and I got second at -23. Bro didn’t hit a shot outside of 10 feet. I mean I put the difficulty at 95 but wow it seems broken lmao

I had Patrick Cantlay as a playing partner on 85 difficulty and he hit everything to within 3 feet 😂 he finished on -12 after the first round and here’s me having an almost flawless round three shots back on -9 haha

You can add a shot power boost to every shot, except putting of course, by tapping L1 or X repeatedly. Hope this helps

He had a 100+ ft putt but instead of the putter being pulled back further to simulate the golfer hitting the ball harder, he pulls back like he’s hitting a 10 ft putt and the ball just flies off the putter. Not good.

Challenges or ingame store. Think that's the only two ways so far. But I think I've read somewhere, that there will be rare equipment and apparel items in the future, that can be earned in tournaments etc.

I think 2k may have some trouble. Graphics and realism are winning plus i never understood how you can make a golf game without the masters in it. Seems like a madden game without the superbowl 🤷‍♂️.
