This song is outstanding and sad at the same time. It takes me back to my own high school days where we lost four or five kids from my class during my four years there. Virtually all of them were from car accidents, some of them where underage drinking was taking place. I still miss my friends.

Just last week 5 kids from my grade(we weren't close but i knew them enough to have a conversation and care about them) were in a car accident...they hit a broken down power line and the car burst into flames. only one survived and she is in extremely critical condition. she isn't even recognizable anymore.......we had a big ceremony at my school for them and this song was one that was being played in the background. i will never, ever forget that night...it's still clear as day.

Brilliant record. This kid is good. Scot sings a song like he's much older than he is. He sounds like man-although he's not- while Bieber sounds like he's 12. I like the way Scot goes for the deep note at the end of the line. The only thing I don't like on this track are the violins at the beginning. They should have stuck with the guitar. This is an outstanding first album from this young man. Sing low, sing slow Scot--it's your money ticket. New country/whatever star for sure.
