Every band cant be the most underrated. They had a successful career with multiple hit songs and millions of records sold worldwide. Including multiple world tours. Video after video played on Mtv. So I'd say they were rated and recognized correctly as a good band with alot of great songs.

One of the greatest showmen on stage hands down in the 80's. Ian's vocals, style, clothes, (Lady's) sex appeal and voice made you not look away. July 20th, 2024 still rocking this and several others The Cult!!!!! Est. 1983. And Billy Duffy I think never got the recognition he deserved as a guitarist, he was amazing in most all the songs he did.

Actually in their time they got A LOT of recognition. They died off fast in the mid 90s unfortunately and by the early 2000s they were unheard off almost. But back in th day?? Bro they were gods. Always sold out everywhere.

It took me several days to leave safely, and i kept hearing the lyrics say "keep on pushin" even when my abuser stated I wasn't worth killing and law enforcement refused to serve the protective order timely, I kept pushin, and know I am free!!!!

omg i know the feeling, ym song for thsi was 'dare yiou to move' not quite as rock unfortunauely XD, but it had a story in itself, as during this time I found some faith, adn only after (with a few pretty cool testimonies to go with), i found out the lyrics were about the salvation of God
