The Hughes Brothers as per Spice-1's interview, had been doing Tupac dirty before any drama happened from the readings before Menace II Society started filming. What the Hughes Brothers are documented to have done was basically fire Tupac from the Menace II Society film and then without even telling Tupac Shakur himself they went to newspapers and stated that the reason they fired Tupac was because he showed up drunk to the set and acted "unprofessional" Think about that carefully... originally it was the film company that basically told the Hughes Brothers to put Tupac in the film based on his performance in the 1992 Juice film... because it really wasn't like Tupac had star power yet... but his performance was critically acclaimed and acting is about make believe and convincing the audience to the point that the audience finds the characters believable... Bad acting is when you're watching a movie and more than one actor just cannot convince you of the performance... just think about it if films like Casino and Goodfellas had bad acting from the main cast... there's a reason why film studios try to get good actors and for a black actor like Tupac it also wasn't like he was the main character... Remember he did put input or feedback because he felt that the Hughes Brothers script (remember they were responsible for how they portrayed people and even religious people) was misrepresenting Muslims or specifically American black Muslims of back then... and given that Tupac Shakur himself had family or relatives, he knew something... plus Tupac hired them for his early music videos which got critical acclaim too... It's important for the people reading this post to understand that Tupac wasn't some "instant smash hit star" like how Snoop Dogg and Biggie Smalls were portrayed and hyped up to be... Tupac came from Digital Underground but he didn't have their sound and didn't act like he was trying to still sound like them... he came out with a more Public Enemy style sound but his own and more about social issues in the black and minority communities. Therefore for the Hughes Brothers to have made their actions of intentionally not telling him they didn't want him in the movie at all... not telling him directly according to his and his friends accounts and then go on newspapers who report this information and will give the film industry the impression that "this rapper turned actor Tupac is a drunk and unprofessional so he got fired from the movie" is like a career destroying thing... It's like losing your references and more... yet Tupac ironically got hired as a leading man in the Romantic comedy drama Poetic Justice film... and ask yourself if Tupac's acting was convincing in that film... Plus Robert Downey Jr had substance abuse issues way back yet white Hollywood people went to get him into rehabilitation instead of say... doing what the Hughes Brothers did... and look where that actor went... he was basically the Marvel Comics Iron Man... Thus the Hughes Brothers BEFORE the drama of Tupac showing up and acting dumb and crazy and fighting, the Hughes Brothers did indeed do Tupac dirty and basically threw crap to hurt his career in acting... even though the part in Menace II Society was a small part. The people in favor of the Hughes Brothers claim that Tupac was acting all Hollywood... yet he was getting critical acclaim and he knew he was playing a smaller supporting part. Menace II Society was a very well done film but in all seriousness it could have been better... it stands to reason that maybe the Hughes Brothers did Tupac dirty but that they themselves were the ones acting all "Hollywood famous" cause look how they followed up their films... and how credible their follow up films were compared to others like Spike Lee or John Singleton. In conclusion that the Hughes Brothers are somehow involved in a NEW Tupac documentary or film project, is no different from Badboy Records staff handling the project or Dr Dre putting a Tupac hologram to manipulate and coerce Tupac fans to become stronger Dr Dre, Snoop and Eminem fans at the expense of Tupac's legacy.

Nothing you said here was remotely true. The studio wanted a known rapper and the Hughes brothers tried to get Ice Cube to play O Dog and he turned them down so they got Tupac to be the Muslim nigga in the movie. Tupac broke the contract because he kept showing up late to the set and acting nutty so the studio themselves fired him and replaced him. The Hughes brothers were 20 year olds working on their first movie. They didn't have the power to fire someone making $300k for that movie. Also Menance 2 Society is a cultural hit and got widespread critical acclaim. Idk where you think that movie could've been better. It's still talked about to this day 30 years later. Also Pac in his last interviewe apologized to Allen Hughes so Idk what the fuck Spice 1 is even talking about.

Hold up…. He’s not speaking on specifics.. first off, Pac and the Hughe brother were cool with each other because they did a lot of his earlier video. “Brenda’s got a baby” being one of them. Second, they sued Pac because of the assault that took place. Tupac jumped them on the set of the spice 1 music video to the Menace ll society soundtrack because they fired Tupac for being difficult. Pac had got real disrespectful with the hughe brothers at one of the table reads. Larenz Tate has confirmed this, Tyrin Turner confirmed this, the Hughe brothers confirmed this and Jada Pinket. So Tupac jumped them because he was fired from Menace… as much as I love Pac, he was wrong for that and the Hughe brothers not being gangsters, had to do what they had to do. So I believe if Pac was alive they would of squashed the beef because they didn’t start off on bad terms.. but that was the reason why he got sued and I believe did 15 days in jail. They had the Black Panther ties ... He was experienced as a street Black Panther child just like Pac minus the making movies stuff. I'd love 2 hear more about the young homie! 💪🏾💯👑🖤

I gotta say it. Looks to me like Tupac was the issue with all the unnecessary drama. He beefed with Biggie, Jay Z, mob deep, Chino XL, piddy, then he went to cause the fight at the casino. Looks to me like a big bag of I don't want this guy around me.

Ya Pac estate, what happened with the restaurant.... More importantly there's so many unreleased songs that could have made God knows how much since Pac is one of the greatest sellers of music ever worldwide, everything goes multi-platinum, do they hate money? If so, there are lots of starving children that could use that money, Pac would approve, he wanted his music to be heard and wouldn't mind the money making a better world and saving some of the 20,000 kids that die of starvation each day, many from Yemen where the U.S. and Saudi Arabia blockades the country from receiving food after bombing the infustructure (hospitals, water and food supplies, etc.) Also, why doesn't Napoleon speak out against the u.s. government like Pac did? And why live in Saudi Arabia and support that government that is commiting genocide in Yemen and committing record number public crucification's to it's own people? Lots of disappointment with both the estate and Napoleon....I know there are some good in Pac's family and friends like the mother of Yaki Kadafi.

It's very odd that the Hughes brothers would feel entitled to do a doc on Pac. I think that Pac would take that as disrespect regardless of what his Mom thought about it. It kinda feels like revenge to a certain extent. I'm gonna make money off of you even if we didn't like each other.

Tiny Gonzalez yea From Tucson South Side I believe Napoleon or could’ve been the outlaws was with Mobb deep touring together the beef had all already passed no one was beefing I believe but in Tucson,Tupac was everyone’s top top artist and during that time we still had a little hate towards the people he was against with especially Mobb deep, a couple of other homeboys from 12th/Bilby area South Tucson (lotta cartel activity) in these parts but yes they were loyal enough to Tupac to do that but that’s now how it ended thank god. Also Bizzy bone from bone thugs was also got into the scuffle with same group here as well in the late 90’s fun fact.
