Regarding fragments left in her is true, as far as the long term effects. My aunt was shot in the head ( the police said she was only pistol whipped) and to this day she suffers with vision problems for years the drs told her she would lose her sight! But she still can see to God be the glory. The noticeable side effects are her eyes are bloodshot red! Every time she is asked she relives that dark night! My aunts assailant was never found!
