They let the street side of their lives and power consume them and look at where there are now. Should have been talked about two of the greatest Rap labels ever, even music labels ever in the Motown arena of greatest music label. 🤔

All the "infamous" Rappers who developed "Rap" who were Unique, and extremely talented, never receive any credit! It just disappoints me that they're never "recognized" and "Eminem" with his "annoying" voice, who came years, and years later; gets so much recognition for greatness. That song with Big Daddy Kane, Pac and Kane wwnt ole skool like a back n forth kind of thing on those verses. Ppl don't give Suge any credit for trying to revive those guys careers from.the late 80s and early 90s that were played out by 95-96. It was bold that NY labels and execs weren't checking for Kane, Bobby Brown, Christopher Williams Run DMC, K Solo and some more that Death Row were trying to get at that time.

What disappointed me the most is Kane and Rakim never battling, it's like imagining if Frazier and Ali never fought. They are both legendary but they would have made a stamp on hip hop the likes of Boogie Down Productions v Juice Crew and Nas v Jay Z. And it seems like Kane was the one who wouldn't take the bait from Rakim throwing little jabs out there at him.
