Scottish golf right there. My Dad often told me the closer you can keep the ball to the ground the bigger margin for error you have👍

very well explained and great examples. I no longer reach for a wedge right away - i've been using my 9 and 8 more and have far less thin/chunk shots. Well done.

I really like the explanation "why do this". Also, a relaxed tone of voice, like a conversation, not preaching.

Hey Alex just know your YT Channel a couple of days - but what should i say? It lifted my hole game to another level of Golf! Up to now it was realy "hard work" on the course to maintain a propper swing and result. With your vids specialy "Do THIS To Get That A'HA Golf Swing Feel " i got a hole new rythm and feel to my game - it realy was a game changer!! in winter i have now my lengths from the summer - i´m playing a hole new course now - cant wait to spring to hunt my goal to be a single handicapper - now 11.8 - thank you so much!!!! I´m watching your vids from Hannover Germany.

That’s the goal. Let us know how much this moves the needle. It often does as it’s low hanging fruit ⛳️

Excellent, I tried the 8 iron, and it was much softer off the face and more forgiving. I usually use my 7 iron. I also tried the 9 iron and stood closer to the ball with positive results. Thank you

Good stuff! I like to prescribe 9 for most :) keep testing

I have the best results chipping with my 9 iron, if conditions permit I also use a hybrid, just seems to give me more confidence than a very lofted club (at my level)
@TheArtofSimpleGolf Жыл бұрын
Learned the 9 iron a long time ago and I never looked back. It’s great. The hybrid takes a little practice as it can come off a little “hot” but solid weapon ⛳️

I prefer my 50 deg gap wedge... but I agree less chance of digging in leading edge
@TheArtofSimpleGolf2 жыл бұрын
That’s a good compromise for sure

Hi Alex ! Would you give some tips for using 52 gap wadge ? Thanks

I've hit the "easy button" and have a dedicated chipper in my bag. I used to use my 8 iron (39 degrees) but have found the chipper to just work for me up to 40 yards.

No harm in that at all!

Changing to the 9i on these shots has dropped my HCP by 7 points. I was absolutely terrible with the wedges from here.
