A piece of paper under your drawing hand will help stop you from smudging and smearing. A tissue or a piece of toilet paper over your finger will allow you to blend leaving oils on your paper too. Cinnamon, this was really great! I've been sketching since I was a teenager (a lonnnnnng time ago) and......I've always used my finger to blend so I learned something new! It's just that....fingers are so handy.....

the little pink part of the eye is not the tear duct the tear duct is a little hole in your bottom / lid and the black part is the pupil and the color part is the iris just in case anybody got confused from this demonstration
