For Acrylic April will be using a few more brushes so that we can accomplish and learn some new techniques. You do not need to have the exact brand of brushes. When it comes to Bright you might be able to use a single bright there are a lot of ways to save money. my students often paint with different tools and that's not something that I mind at all. This list of brushes and information should be used as a guide and I highly recommend you make this work within your own personal budget or painting process.

I have Hobby Lobby. Their packages of brushes that I’ve tried FALL APART! Very disappointing! On occasion I will purchase their Master’s Touch brushes individually when they are half off. As a rule, I just pick up packages of Royal Langnickel from Walmart with my grocery pickup order. They have a better feel, durability, and are inexpensive. These are a great combo since I’ve recently been asked to do paint parties for the church we pastor. Our ladies have found a new hobby so I’m soaking in your teaching and sharing with them. Artist loft has a Naples Yellow. Not at pretty as the ones on video. Doesn't give quit the same color when mixing as the one used. Thank you for letting me know that was a thing...sane name different results. . I was losing my mind trying to get colors by assuming all were the same! Love this learning!!

The artist's Loft naples yellow is a creamy color and the Winsor and Newton looks like the band-aid color.

Hi Cinnamon, I think some of the amazon affiliate links may be wrong, as a total beginner, i was trying to get a list of the "abstract" paint that i would need from your links, but, mars black takes you to deep magenta, dioxazine purple, takes you to burnt sienna, and ultra marine, takes you to purple. I think i have sorted out the correct colours after watching back your video, but thought i would just let you know. Can Liquitex Matte Medium or Golden Satin Glazing Liquid be used in place the Golden Acrylic Glazing liquid you’re using?

Those two mediums tend to speed drying time instead of slowing drying time. 💟

I purchased Fredrix canvas pad to paint on. I am having a problem with the canvas buckling as I am painting. Even when it completely dries, it remains buckled and this would be tricky to frame and look good. I have in the past used Arteza canvas pads and did NOT have problem with it buckling. Any suggestions?

Yes #1 tape down the sheets as you paint and allow it to dry with the tape on before removing. #2 I will try the Arteza and see if I like it better. i am always open to better solutions

hi sherpa, i am using a mixture of cheap brands with only 1 or 2 tubes a little higher quality brand because i am on a very tight budget. i just reached the canvas part and saw that you are using phoenix canvas which is the same brand as most of my paints. i just wanted to know if you ever tried their paints and if they are a good substitute for golden or liquitex?

I used to use parchment paper for stay wet. I now use a glass palette and a water mister, it’s really a glass cutting board that I cut the feet off the bottom and it works great! I think I got it for about $7-8 compared to the glass palettes that are about $25.

I will share the exact yellow of course it is my pleasure. If May I ask a follow up to help me teach better in this online world. Was the blog about yellow on the website hard to find? If you were able to find it was the exact name of the amsterdam yellow hard to find? Is there anything that might have helped you find the yellow in your line easier that was not on the blog? Sometimes I dont know what it's like for you guys to find your resources and by helping fix what you had trouble with I can help another person who may not think to ask. Thank you for helping me - To your exact answer. Royal Talens Amsterdam Standard Series Acrylic Color, 120ml Tube, Nickel Titanium Yellow and its should have PY 53 on the tube. I think it is the same in Sweden but I may be wrong so please let me know so I can add that info on too.

@@TheArtSherpa I looked at your yellows, but ordered it before I heard about the pigment codes, so now I have the PY42 and over it another code PW6 Learning by doing misstakes and the web shop didn't have all colours at home. Got it now from anoter webstore that has quick delivery 😊 but I were confused about dioxazine purple link is showing 211 burnt sienna, mars black link is showing 671 deep magenta but I have looked around until I got it and desided to take some of mine that allready was bought with right pigment codes.
