just finished mine and i love it!!!! im still havingtrouble witht he umbrella and blending the yellow/orange to get those lines but i know with time and practice ill get it. i thought the hair was going to be way more difficult but since its the side view and watching how you do it made it a lot easier!! thank you so much ive been trying to do a painting a day but this one took me two days lol but it was sooo worth it i love the way it turned out and with your lessons im getting better and better each day. from the time i started painting to the lessons ive been watching from you from only a week or two i have to say the progress is amazing!!! you make it fun to watch and i actually learn from you!!! thats a rare combination lol than you again. xoxo

One great thing about Abstract CityScapes is they had been huge for a couple years so if you google " Abstract CityScapes" " "abstract Skylines " you will pull up so many painting in so many many color schemes . That can be a great inspiration point to start from. You could do this all in Browns if you have a neutral house and the couple will still pop out.

I have a Liquitex gloss and varnish medium .I was wondering if it could be used instead of glazing medium?

Glazing medium slows down drying time BUT Gloss and varnish will help you get the Glaze effect but dry time will still be fast. It will still give you that fun effect

The brush makes a big difference in lines and edges for sure . Great brushes do come in every budget though

Hello, I was wondering is using Hansa Yellow, Medium Shade as opposed to Candium Yellow, Medium Shade will make a difference? If so, will it be lighter or darker?

This is going to sound a little weird but the first time I saw the background colors it reminded me of the moon beam in Sailor Moon. When I draw this painting I want to make my couple look like Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask, hopefully it will come out good.

I think you may have to move the placement of the umbrella. Try making a few sketches and see if you can get this worked out on paper. I think it can be done for sure
