* All of these dogs came from fosters where they were quarantined for 30 days, some even longer. In addition to that, they were all seen by the vet to get a certificate of health before arriving at the sanctuary. This was filmed before the pneumonia incident and all dogs are safe*

Dear Bobbie, regarding the subscribers wish to have a life like Lee ...Some of us have a life similar with Lee's, we are compassionate, loving towards animals and people alike, have three dogs, who live in Heaven and I help 8 charities in Hungary, to make this small country a better place not only for animals but the very sick children and dying people with serious illnesses. The only difference is that we are not so well known on Social media for all the help we provide to all these animal shelters and other serious charities. We moved to this country from the UK, and we can see the difference, as the laws here are not so strict when it comes to protecting abused animals. The record in America is not so flattering either, considering how developed it is...6.5mill dogs end up abandoned and in various shelters across the States...Not all of them are as vast and equipped as Lee's sanctuary! Lee had a vision years ago and with hard work and determination, he set up the best sancturay in the world...of course he wouldn't have achieved his dreams without being in the Social media from the very beginning....All the people like you and me and others helped him to achieve his dream, which is a wonderful dream as he saves many animals who would perish without his and the Asher House dedicated work and care. I personally do not wish to live his life and be recognised everywhere you go...I am wealthy enough to have a quiet, decent, happy retirement, without stress and worries....I would not envy Lee, or anybody in his boots( he has plenty 👍😀) because life behind the scenes is not always as perfect as we see it...there are lots of worries with so many animals, dealing with many matters that we subscribers cannot see! That is hard work, and not always fun...so believe me, I do not wish in any circumstances to have Lee's life! He is an extraordinary caring, devoted young man, but there is a lot of pressure when you run a business....I have done it all in the past, but I prefer my now life...retired since the age of 52, now I am 66 and still fit and happy, living life to the full with my DH, travelling and simply enjoying what is left! Thank you so much for taking rescues from TX. I moved to S TX about twenty years ago and have been broken hearted so many times due to the treatment and disposable nature of animals in this culture. I have adopted quite a few over the years; all rescues. Some literally dumped over my gate. Broken, ill, abused, and neglected, it is horrible. And worse, there are few no kill shelters. What you are doing for these sweet dogs is nothing short of a miracle in their lives.

It amazes me how many collarless dogs I see in the area I work in or how much roadkill I see on the way to work because there are so many loose dogs roaming.

I always get a lump in my throat when I see how much love Lee has for the animals. Seeing Wobble reminded me so much of Matilda ( who I call miss Wibbly Wobbly)....every dog that is in Lee's care is special and it shows! I needed this right now. I just lost my rescue husky/German shepherd mix a few hours ago. He was 12 years old and had lost the use of his back legs a couple of years ago. He had “wheels” but in the end, the paralysis kept spreading. It was time…I loved my boy. RIP Freddy ❤️

I love to watch the introduction of new rescues to the pack... it truly shows how the pack accepts the boundaries of new ones and allows them time to decompress in new surroundings in a calm and unthreatening way...no added stress or trauma. Those first two are going to be huge..they are still pups but that Anatolian gene shows..Wobbles is adorable even with poop on him..Zeke and Laurie were lucky the rescuer was brave enough to crawl and get them near live electric wire..Jay will settle..as Lee said he needs to decompress..think of what this lad has gone through..then being in a shelter..then the journey from Texas..he has been through a lot and we don't know what horrors he has lived through just to get here..but what we do know is the Lee Asher is the best dad he could have and will do the right thing for the dawg ..🇬🇧💞✝️🙏👍👏👍👏🐾🐾🐕🐕🐾🐾🐕🐕🐾🐾🐕🐕🇺🇸
