The best thing we can do (and I know it will never happen) is to stop people providing income for them. It seems that Frenchies are the latest to become victims of their popularity. If someone feels that this is the breed they simply must have, they should check shelters and rescues. OR maybe find a wonderful mixed breed that will be the best dog ever!

I *dream* of being able to drive through a few states to do a 'rescue sweep'. Lee hears it all day long, but let me say again... this is BEAUTIFUL!! If i ever get so much as half an acre, rescuing 5 dogs at once will be the first thing i do. I know the feeling of sheer relief, driving off with a dog who was surrendered to me or from a shelter transport pick up... can't even imagine the elation of being able to do that tenfold, every single week. Knowing you've just changed their lives and that they'll never have to be scared, cold, hungry, in pain or sad ever again. I wish i could keep them all, it's hard to home them not fully knowing the adopters beyond a few calls and a home check. I'm so thankful Lee was put on this earth, and i know about 100 dogs who feel the same❤❤❤

Im in San Bernardino, not far from LA. I know a doggy that needs rescuing desperately! This lil guy is 16 and one owner just passed and the other one is going into a rehabilitation and has dementia. No one in the family can take him 😢 I'm so afraid he'll end up passing away in a shelter because no one adopts senior dogs. He's a Cavapoo. Please say prayers he gets a good home. Thank you!!! I don’t understand the family not making the effort to have him or finding someone that will! My mother-in-law sadly passed away 4 years ago of pancreatic cancer. We didn’t hesitate for a minute to adopt her beautiful 9 year old Maltese/Shitzu boy. She loved him so much and we feel so grateful to have him with us as he feels like that extra connection to her. We love him so much. It’s going to be doubly sad when he goes over the rainbow bridge…I’m dreading it so much so we just love on him at every opportunity to make the most of our time with this beautiful boy. I wish I could put a photo up of him as he is the most cutest handsome boy on the planet! I hope this old boy in San Bernardino finds a home. Being in Australia - I can’t help. xx

Rescued dogs are the best, most loving dogs I think. They know they have been saved from a really bad situation, and they show how grateful they are. How I wish these inhumane breeders could be prosecuted, for I think it is pure animal abuse. Poor babies, well they will have a truly wonderful life now. Thank you Lee!
