I get tired of people using royal terminology to describe people who are not. Dame Helen is "royalty herself"? Um, no she's not. All hyperbole aside, there is only one kind of royalty, & they certainly aren't starring in plays, making pop records or acting in movies.

The british monarchy have only shown appreciation for her contribution to the arts.the people who say otherwise obviously aren't aware of all the facts. leave them to it, they'll educate themselves if they want to but we don't need to slam Helen Mirren.

Hmmmmm.........Princess Beatrice did appear in The Young Victoria, Princess Stephanie of Monaco actually did make a pop record, and Princess Theodora of Greece appeared on the US soap opera The Bold and The Beautiful.........

I cannot bear her - I'm sorry - and she is nothing like the Queen, who is not strident, and who has a remarkable sense of humour. The Queen's warmth and charm escape Helen Mirren completely.
