I was loyal to brooks for about 8 years. During COVID I got bored and decided to check out some of the newer brands and see what they are about. Now that this channel has brought brooks into the spotlight and we are able to see how hard their athletes work, I am undoubtedly switching back. These guys and girls have gotten me so hype for some of my recent runs!! #loyaltothesoil.

Hey Spence, I’m tryna run in college (I’m a high school senior rn) and I have two questions for u: 1) How important is it to have good grades in HS? 2) Is it too late to contact coaches in March or April? I’m asking this bc my athletic seasons r suspended till January and I wanna get in solid PRs for indoor track and XC before I contact D1 coaches. I’m excited to hear back from u and pls tell the team I say hi!
@diegollanos85114 жыл бұрын
Lmfaooo Im no Spence but I’m a collegiate athlete. Grades are somewhat important, you definitely need a certain GPA for colleges especially those D1 tend to want people with a decent gpa or a high one. I would start talking to coaches now tho, or at least some to at least get your name out there. You could even let them know of the work you’re doing so they can at least see what they’re working with. It wouldn’t be the worst to contact them by March and April but it’s better not because some teams might have the roster ready but don’t let it discourage you. Again maybe what I said isn’t to valid I had different experience doing things super early on but Ik people who talk way after January.
