An amazing course! Having been stationed in Hawaii for 5 years and seen lots of beautiful courses. This is an experience for sure!

I was lucky enough to play here 2 years ago in a pro am qualifier, loved every minute of it, the greens were running really quick could easily make you look a fool. East Lothian is definitely my favourite place to play golf. You need to get up and experience Skibo castle next 👍

I’ve walked over parts of this course and the neighbouring Archerfield - great area for golf. Entertaining vlogs with you and average pro. I let the wife accompany me on occasions which is a bit like having a caddy but my view is always wrong!!

Sad to see golf carts becoming common place on UK courses. Golf was meant to be walked. Great video though Andy.
@justinstephenson93605 жыл бұрын
So your view is that people who can no longer walk the full 18 holes (or at least 9) should not be allowed to play golf courses? What about seniors who have suffered strokes, the disabled etc. ? Your view is wrong.
@slalomdude685 жыл бұрын
Justin Stephenson Absolutely no problem with seniors or disabled people using carts. Believe me, before I left the UK 20 years ago I used to play with plenty of men in their late 60’s and 70’s who walked 18 just using Powerkaddy’s. Just sad to see able bodied people not taking advantage of the exercise opportunity. And we wonder why there is a growing obesity problem.
@TheAverageGolfer5 жыл бұрын
the only reason a buggy was used was to carry camera kit, no other buggies on course
@TheAverageGolfer5 жыл бұрын
@@slalomdude68 The only time I ever use a buggy is when filming to carry kit......my obesity problem is down to the Colonels secret recipe
@slalomdude685 жыл бұрын
The Average Golfer LOL, yeah I get it when You Tubers use one for filming, my comment was more about what I have seen as trend in golf. Many resort type courses force it on people as a way to make more $$$$. Hard to beat the Colonels recipe, I well remember stumbling from the Fun Pub to the KFC in the Ferry before making the long assent of the Hawarden hill ! Loving the content at the moment, keep it up.
