The city centre of Swakopmund is only a small part of the town. It goes for quite a few kilometres to the North when you leave the centre of town.

Why?When the western media already always try to push the negative narrative of African countries.Allow us to rewrite our African story and show ya’ll the beautiful side since many people look down on Africa.

I'm from Swakopmund and I would advice them not to step that side of the deep location.

Namibia in general has more organised living even in the poorer side - Swakop seemed to have less of it though

I am simply confused by the reference" tribal people", you mean indigenous people, if so, you should have said indigenous people, let me add this, the White people are too tribal people since some are from the Dutch tribe and others from the French tribe.

Makes sense to use this word going ahead! 👍🏼🤓

@@MaybornGibson Indigenous Peoples of Namibia represent some 8% of the total population. The majority of black people migrated to the country shortly before European Settlers arrived, similar to South-Africa.
@john-darrenesterhuizen9008Ай бұрын
French? It’s mostly Dutch and German.
@fiffihoneyblossom5891Ай бұрын
@john-darrenesterhuizen9008 THe Hugenots were French. Surnames like Du Plesis are of French origin. The Dutch were prominent in South Africa, Germans more so in Namibia. But there were a handful of French people on those first ships. You also goy spaterrings of other European countries here and there. My family has some Irish and my husband some Indian ancestors that came with the first wave. I think the overwhelming architecture leans it more toward the German and Dutch
