JINJA is a beautiful city at East coast of Lake Victoria . Many Indian people came from Uganda to Djibouti before they left to India .

Indians are not considered a local tribe in Uganda! but in Kenya! It was an initiative that the president wanted to introduce that got rejected by the Ugandans.! When Idi Amin expelled Indians in 1972 most of the properties were taken over by the Africans! Amin claims he compensated most of the Asian Uganda!!

Ohh.. thanks for clarifying! We learnt from many Indians we met here that their ancestral homes were lost along with a lot of savings and personal belongings during that time. But only some returned to the country after that.
