I prefer smaller (flatter) acoustic guitars. Playing one of the larger ones is like having a cow on your lap and trying to reach around to milk it... feels very unnatural.. lol

The mini for me is the winner. I think the full size was just to much a full sound. They both sound great but again, the mini is the winner. When you turned the power on for the guitar, especially the mini, at the 6:04 minute, that sound did it for me. Just a beautiful sound.

I'm watching this on my laptop which doesn't have the best of speakers...I mean, it's a laptop... but unplugged I like the sound of the mini a bit more. The full size sounds good but, by comparison there's something missing. I don't know if I'd feel different if I were watching on my desktop with better speakers or using headphones on the laptop. The mini just sounds more "alive" when it's fully acoustic.

just ordered the mini but the full size sounds better... I just didn't want to add another $200 for it

Love the mini, great guitar but have a gripe.... What Sound hole cover / Feedback buster, will work bought three recently none of them fit. jam late so any help in muting the sound would be great. It will also save my relationship, and my partner's sanity.

You're right, the bigger one doesn't have a bigger hole or sound in the room anyway. But I kind of like the smaller one. I don't like big acoustics

They both sound beautiful, but here are my thoughts. I think the bigger version sounds like a traditional acoustic guitar and it has a lot of definition, but it also has a little bit of scooped meds. Where is the mini is more full bodied in the mid range section? And I think I like that part better, for me although there’s more definition on the bigger version of the guitar I think I would be trying to use an EQ to bring in some more of those mids and the mini just seems to have that mid presence that makes with, triads between the DG and B string pop out a little bit more. Since I’m looking for a guitar to record with, I can always add lower end to give the mini a bigger sound, but I don’t think it would be as easy to accomplish that beautiful mid range warmth that the mini has with EQ. No, of course I have a selection of studio monitors, but I’m intentionally listening to this video on my iPhone , and since I do a lot of comparative mixes through my iPhone as a reference, I have a pretty good ear for what it sounds like. From one bald shredder to another… Gracias amigo.

Even if both sound great i prefer mini i mean the sound unplugged is quite good , it s cheaper , and on stage once plugged i find very few différences bitween those two when it comes to the sound.and it s easier to carry / to fit in your trunk😊

I got the X3 Pro full size and really love it. When plugged in it is nice that you can adjust the EQ to your liking!

Is there is difference between the X3 pro and X4 pro full size guitars besides the hole location, pickup, and carbon fiber pattern. Do they sound similar?

Thanks for the comparison! 👍 I have an Enya Nova Go SP1 which I love, but I also want something a little bigger... so I have a X3 Pro Mini on order. One thing I really like with my Nova Go is the sound port. I'm actually thinking about cutting a small sound port on the X3 Pro Mini as well when I get it. Thoughts on that?! :)
