As an American who has devoted more than 50 years to bands and their music, and who has also composed marches and other music for band, I am absolutely thrilled to watch this splendid display of marching and music! I have a special affinity for British military music and ceremonial occasions; no one does it better, and this performance is an example just how truly marvelous this tradition is! Hats off especially to the inclusion of Bagley's "National Emblem"!

I've since had the pleasure to watch other videos featuring the Royal Marines, and have heard their excellent renditions of Bravura, On the Square, etc... I've also watched a few of the Mountbatten music fests. Those are amazing

Always had to get the tissues out for my mother when sunset was performed, best military band in the world, my cousin played the trombone in the band, last saw the band play was at the homecoming of CSG21 at Portsmouth Dockyard December 21, Nephew currently a serving PO Stoker, my farther was a CPOGI.....BZ on the video

When the band of one country can play a march of another country, and better, that's reason to be impressed (RM's playing U.S. march National Emblem)! The new marches Wing Commander and Captain General were outstanding !

Do a little research into the white slave trade and you will realise what this ‘imperialist’ patriotic song is a truly about.

The invited guests were seated in the stands around the parade ground, others view from the perimeter of Horse guards parade. Security is there to protect the Royals in attendance as would be done in any country for their heads of state.

Music choices very very bland, drum routines far too American, where were the traditional marches etc? Terribly disappointing.
