Yeah, just look at how popular apps like porofessor or blitz are. People like not having to look up runes and ability order for every new champion they wanna try out. However as a jungler, I'm not a fan of jungle paths. You need to be flexible and adjust your paths every game. Following the same order of camps every game isn't gonna get you far, especially now that you don't even need to skip raptors on champs like Warwick and Trundle in your first clear to be efficient. Every single champ is gonna be able to full clear with 70% hp left before scuttle spawns, there's no longer THE correct path that new players need to be aware of, they can quite literally do whatever they want and won't get punished. People that stick to recommended paths are gonna be abused so much by jungle mains I feel like.

I will never understand high elo players criticising Riot for making the game more accessible for casual players. Feeling like you have to do 3 hours of studying before playing a game is a huge mental hurdle that stops people from playing league every once in a while or starting to play league at all. These changes don't affect good players whatsoever, but helps remove barriers to entry for casuals and new players and is a very good change for a game in decline.

Everyone already uses third party websites that tell you literally everything riot is implementing in s13 and more. There are things that tell you which teammate is on a win streak, what their playstyle is, if they ward well, etc. No one had any problem with these. Farm. Team won a tf and the window to win the game was open. The only threat? Fiora. She was pushing bot and stsrted recalling... so I followed her. The recommended stuff shouldn't really be different from third party apps and is a positive improvement for newer players since they aren't required to use those anymore. As it stands right now if two new players face each other and one of them uses an app like blitz, while the other doesn't, the one who does use it will most likely win.

I was the last hit god, but in all that focusing I never trained my brain to look at the map. The most important bit of information on your UI. It's why I stopped playing top, I'd either get a dogshit matchup and couldn't play the game, or I'd be winning and I get permacamped by jg or mid. I'm not exadurating when I say this was every game I played top. Sure, I might not be as optimal playing top lanes as support, but it beats the hell out of staying under tower at 2hp for 25 minutes, or being 4/0 to 4/8 with nothing I can do about it. Yeah, you can also say skill issue, and I am a more passive laner, care more about farm, but I do win my trades often, and get first blood a decent amount when I'm not against a champion made after 2019

Nowadays I mostly only play wild rift (LoL on mobile) because the games are faster and more casual friendly. There's plenty of beginner-friendly features on wild rift, such as: - items pages and rune pages are merged together (I call them "build page"); - 3 recommended build pages for every character by default, and the possibility to copy the build pages of the top 3 players of the server; - visual indication when you can last-hit a minion (the health bar goes white); - if you play on red side, the map is rotated 180°; - when a game start, there's an arrow pointing where your lane is (except for junglers obviously); - there's an auto-aim for pretty much any ability in the game (but it sucks for skill shots unless if you do it at point blank). I think it is mostly there to ease controls due to playing on mobile; - Activable items (such as proto-belt, gargoyle stoneplate, etc.) are called enchantments on wild rift. Enchantments are upgrades to boots, and you can only have 1, so you only have 1 activable item to worry about while playing, it's convenient. To be fair, I expect some of these features to appear someday on LoL pc.

Ain't nothing wrong with recommending skills and build, how often do you actually just buy the items the shop says? It's not fun as a new player to load up a new champ and not have a clue what to do. Take TF for example, as a new player you see that so many different numbers go up from maxing W and you want the cd on the stun, but you don't realise because you've never played him just how much you need to have points in q

Why does it bother you that they are making league easier for new players? They are not forcing experienced players to follow the "recommended" builds, jg paths, ability level ups. There might even be an option to turn if off. It pisses me off how this bothers so many people, literally just ignore it. So what if they are making the game easier to get into, this is literally such a big win for all of us, it doesn't affect anyone.

This zed is the type of KDA player i hate the most, and when Bauffs is blowing their sums and ults before he dies so he can clean up he starts to ping him like he did nothing and he himself did some amazing play when he literally just pressed his buttons on low target champs without anything left in their kit.

Ok I just came out with something for people complaining about LoL becoming more beginner-friendly: Do drivers complains about abs, emergency brakes and autopilot? No and for the case of autopilot, if you don't like it don't use it! Oh, well, I forgot LoL players don't drive since they never leave their bedroom. 🙃

I don't understand why they are implementing these changes into ranked as well. I feel like ranked you should receive minimum assistance and you shouldn't even be playing a champion you don't know what to build on and what to max first in ranked.

97% of the people in league blame people for the mistakes they make themseleves, yet when you make them face the facts the answer you get is : stfu, shut up and play the game, etc.

They are slowly making League into a mobile game. League is fun cuz its hard and hard means feeling satisfaction when you play well. If they take that away a lot of players might quit and they will lose a huge ammount of player base. I dont like where the changes are going personally.

I mean, all they're doing with the changes to recommendations is literally making shit like porofessor obsolete. They're already there, and THOUSANDS of people use it. I'd argue half the people who play league use it for at least SOMETHING. So why not just add it to the game?
