Awesome!! Thank you, thank you, thank you for this video. Although I’m going to have to watch it several more times, because I don’t really know exactly what I’m doing lol. I live in Cypress, but But I’ve been driving to public access number 36 Galveston about every third day since the middle of August. I’ve caught a lot of hardheads, a speckled trout, a ladyfish, and a whole lot more hardheads. About a week and a half ago, when there was no shrimp because of all the jellyfish, I ended up catching a black tip shark off of croaker, but I have no method to the madness. I’m 5’ 11”, I wade out until I can’t touch, (what seems like about 100-125 yards from the truck, all the other wade fishermen are waaaay behind me by this point). To repeat what you said earlier, my buddy that lives in Terramar says, “Brian, you don’t need to wade out there that far”. But since I don’t know, I’m just trying to get my bait out there as far as I can. But I would like to minimize the hardheads and maximize the keepers. Thank you very much for this video, I liked and am now subscribed as well👍

First off, I love that your family is sharing the day with you. 2) So I swim out to chest deep water to fish for.......sharks? lol This video was recommended by a FL surf fisher, forgot his name but he makes the Fish Gum. This was perfect and I am a new fan of yours. I also think, in the off season, you should work for audio books and read for them. You have a great radio voice. Thank you so much for this awesome info. Now to catch up on you videos.

Good info for sure! The water is like a book; you show up, look at the water & it tells you a story. You have to know what it’s telling you in order to be successful. If you find a good looking spot that doesn’t produce, you move. Your other choose is to wait for the fish to show up, LOL.

@user-bq1ru4vl4k sorry, my response was for another comment lol. Anything up to 18 is good. After that, it's rough fishing and requires heavy sinkers.

You look like me out there with the waves come in and then you jump up I have the waves miss your face. I'll probably look like a freaking bobblehead bobber out there. Funny what you said how about the third sandbar to get across it will the tides going out can you drop and bounce off your toes push yourself up just like missing a wave. That's funny because that's exactly what I do is Bounce my way through the third sandbar. I hooked into a big shark out there and I had to swim over that third soundbar because tide was coming in and you know you can't touch the bottom without going underwater can I have surgery on my wrist which I was already in recovery but I had a kick my feet and swim on my back and try to fight that thing all the way to shore every time I get a couple pull and pull me back. Then I swim again he pulled me again. I would go 4 ft he pulled me Back 2 ft or even 3 ft but once I got through there and was able to get my feet on the ground I was finally able to get that big boy in. It was a 6 and 1/2 ft black tip. And I know those are very hard to find because I usually don't get past 6 up to 7 ft. Needless to say that thing wore me out I was almost done for the day. I want I got back to Shore people were saying they were taking side bets on who is going to win either me or the shark. For the first I didn't know what I had they just knew it was something big. Play Kissimmee struggling with my right arm the wrist I had surgery on and it was nice I had a couple of them come by to try to help me. So I got a real close up on shore in shallow water they went ahead and pulled it up on shore and took to hook out. The I thought I was awesome they recognized that and helped out. That's what a couple people said when they saw me bouncing in the 3rd gut the sandbar they said I look like a bobblehead out there. I didn't know that I was entertaining these people that were watching from Shore. So glad I could amuse them and make their day. Lol.
