Everything seemed normal until it was time for us to leave... we started hearing banging and other strange noises, It was very hard to explain but as we knew we were the only ones in that house it definitely left us on edge!...

Great explore guy's, why I have subscribed to your channel is you are genuine and respectful, you don't carry on about the noises, you just calmly explore then leave. There was a very bad vibe in that house, that attic projector room gave me the creeps, I think it was used for something Evil, maybe even a hostage. No stairs up, no windows. Just creepy. With many of these old abandoned properties, it does make you wonder why they're just left to rot, when at one point they'd have been expensive, luxury family homes. It's a real shame that this place is no longer loved, as it could be a lovely place to bring up your kids, there is so much space. By the look of the decor though, as well as the condition, I wouldn't be surprised if that place has be empty since the 80's.

The stuff hanging from the ceilings is woodchip paper, little chips of wood glued to the paper. You stick it up and then paint it.

I'm glad u were there with ur pal. It was a good house & since it' was void of any furniture meaning the owner must have to go somewhere else. You can always get some info about the house, tenants & so on from a local newspaper, neighbours, Real estate agents & so on. It's great when you post the video with what u have uncovered. That's a perfect end to ur little adventure. Thanks. good to c u in pair. It's safe that way. Since it was getting dark maybe someone outside saw ur lights!

Your guess is correct. I recognize some of that wallpaper from the 70s and the swings are also 70s. Those seats were a thick plastic and often a faded pinky mauve colour. My children had them. Why would a large house like that have an electricity meter like that, they couldn't have been short of money? Weird The attic was odd. A children's room for films or fathers porn room. I'm inclined to go with the second. LOL

Such a travesty that people can leave these houses to rot and fall apart until they get to a point where the renovation costs become prohibitive to anyone ever taking them on. I have also noticed a tendency for those sitting on prime real estate to mysteriously catch fire so that the protected house is no longer a barrier to development on the land....! Or ensure the roof is not maintained so it literally rots to the ground as you mentioned...

A home like that with bars on the windows, and that many bathrooms would indicate that it is a old folks home with those for dementia, or a old shared out vacation home maybe. My guess old folks for those that grew up and lived with old things like fire places and such. Some spots were used for care takers thus the pool and tennis court for exercise.

I bet someone was outside throwing something at the windows, i noticed in one of the outside areas there was a few newish gardening attachments and with the recently cleared areas someone has an interest in it, the room nearest you on the ladder was probably a shot at you guys.

Watching a KZbin Travel channel a guy was doing WWII sites. He went to a island which had a few American military trucks rusting down from the battle. The guy walked by these trucks and I heard a "Please Help me!". I sent the guy a note. Did you have anyone with you at 14:07 mins? Kids maybe? Guy comes back and put a Note on that video. He didn't have anyone there and it freaked him out since he had never noticed it before. You could clearly hear something say Please Help Me!

Watching at the end and that bang at the window is very likely a squatter. Probably has the key to that door with the mail in front of it. Bang you heard was probably one of the squaters opening and shutting that door quickly again when they heard you in there.

It’s an slot machine that controlled your electricity. You put 50p coin in a slot turn the dial and your electricity came back on until you used the allotted time then you would have to do it again. (Mainly in the uk ) not sure about anywhere else

Is it just me who found the house itself pretty plain for a posh property with private tennis court, this many annexes, maybe stables etc.? It is big but otherwise not as fancy at all with the exception of the panelled room. I know people who have an attic with a drop-down staircase and it's in part their kid's playroom so I don't see a reason to suspect any hidden activities there. I lived in the UK only very briefly but remember prepayment meters, however I found it kind of irritating that a posh property had one, I always associated them rather with lower class homes. How do you British people think about this? I could imagine that the house last was a flatshare of some sort.
