How to Install THE CLAW from We The People Holsters

My Holster arrived but my Hellcat didn't fit. Then, I realized I had failed to order the holster designed for the Springfield Hellcat with the optic. So, my solution was to modify the holster to fit my Hellcat, It worked like a charm and it looks good too. Since the fault was mine alone, I didn't think it fair to burden WeThePeople with my screwup. These folks make a damned good product. Their craftsmanship is excellent and their quality is second to none. I'm delighted to recommend them to all who may need a well-made carry holster. Thanks, WeThePeople you all made my day! when you connect the double threaded with the bushing, I think We The People video says to use short end and it seems like you put it on the long end. Please advise

I've Had my WTP Holster for my Gen 5 Glock 26 with Trl6 for over a year now and I've carried it every single day for long hours. Its held up fine even with the claw installed. I will say, as a bigger guy the claw does come lose and rotate over time. 3 weeks ago the holster did snap along a ridge and it definitely has to do with all the leverage being placed on the claw. It should have 2 mounting holes. I sent an email to WTP with pictures and 24 hours later a replacement was shipped out and showed up 5 days later. All in all its good holster, could be better. Customer service in my experience has been wonderful so far.

The pad I need is somewhere in between those provided. The unlock washer is a poor execution of a soso idea. I am going to remove the washer and drill a hole through the kydex guided by the second hole in the claw. Using the screw and rubber grommet I will creat a second tensioner.

My holster claw does not stay tight, when I tighten the front screw the back one spins. They are not independent from one another

I am not sure. It is specifically designed for the clip on WTP holsters.

I have heard your belt slides under your claw sometimes and you have to adjust it.

Mine hasn’t under normal wear. I guess there could be a possibility if you didn’t have it adjusted properly or your belt was too loose and you did a lot of moment (not normal sitting, standing, walking around).

Customer service is poor. They could not issue me a partial refund of $7 dollars. I called w/in an hour of placing my order. I was told that I needed to cancel my whole order and place a new one. I was told that they would 'Cancel' my order and issue a refund. Never happened. I received an email that my order was 'Canceled' and that a refund would be issued. Then my order arrived. I now have to decide whether to be 'Hostage' or return their 'Shipping Mistake' for a refund.

Terrible design. Will not, I say again, will not withstand any serious movement while being worn. It will loosen up. You have leverage applied to one screw. Best way to install it is in the trash can. Buy a cheap claw from Amazon, with two mounting screws and by drilling an addition hole you'll have a proper claw installed.

@@TheBeardedOutdoorsman18 I'm glad your experience has been a good one. It is not a good design for anyone with a bit of extra weight from an engineering standpoint. It puts leverage on a single screw and it will absolutely loosen up. They supply a lock washer and it just chews up the plastic in short order. They will come out with a new design as soon as they run out of these, you heard it here first. All the best.

@@TheBeardedOutdoorsman18 i am. The claw is too long for the 43x holster belt clip. It has to be rotated way out. Maybe they should make different sizes...
