@JimiFargo5 ай бұрын
If you listened to all of his studio albums nonstop with no breaks it would take 38 hours 8 minutes and 35 seconds. I got this information by going to the Wikipedia list of Johnny Cash studio albums and adding up the length of them, so it may be slightly inaccurate.

Another thing that I remember hearing quite a bit was Social Distortion's cover of Ring of Fire, which I can't help but wonder if that help convince him to work with Rick Rubin in the first place.

Ah man, I wish you mentioned his last studio album Out Among the Stars. The album he did in the 80s that the record label shelved...for some reason and was better than any of his 80s stuff. She Used to Love Me A lot is one of the best songs he did and his vocals bettered the version by Dave Allan Coe. Also I feel missing out that moment where he went into a cave to die was a big boo boo seeing how much it turned his life around. Still, great vid! The man did so much its essy to miss a huge chunk and I Walk the Line could easily get a sequel based on the rest of his life.
@mattbeatgoeson Жыл бұрын
Yeah, I really did cut some stuff out there. He just had so many albums already, but you're right- that one had some great tunes on it. Regarding the cave story, I didn't include it because the story was likely either heavily embellished by Johnny and his friends and family or perhaps even made up entirely. I used to think the story was true until I read some biographies about him. Check out the sources in the description by the way! Thanks for the thoughtful comment. It's obvious you're a true fan. :)
