During quarantine I’ve gone on quite the journey with my nails... I arrived at poly gel pretty quickly and I’ve watched a million videos but when I sit down to do my nails, I keep coming back to your videos for step by step instructions because your videos are the best! Thank you so much, you’ve given me confidence to not just do my nails during this quarantine, but to keep doing them and not return to the nail salon :)

My nail tech removes dip powder by filing off the top coat, wrapping my nails in foil, cotton and acetone for 5-10 minutes and then filing the rest off since it had time to soften. I personally find any type of soaking method with acetone super damaging to my natural nails but the technique my tech does has been great. No complaints from me!

-Use cuticle oil at least twice a week -Wear something on your nails whether normal polish/gel/acrylic -Try to minimize the time your nails are exposed to water especially warm water, use gloves if needed I also wouldn't let them grow too long cause then they might break easier

@TotalDentalNerd5 жыл бұрын
If you notice lifting after filks. You may try wiping off some of the alcohol on your brush first. When I would do my fills with as wet as a brush as you I guess it diluted it or something. But I'd get problems if i didnt wipe excess off. But you might not have any issues. 😁

Luckily no issues here, I try to wait til the alcohol evaporates to cure it but you're right, if it's soaking, it'll cure weird.
