I Bought A Suzuki B-King 1340cc Of Pure Motorcycle Insanity For Getting Around Central Bangkok!

What can I say, I miss my big crazy Suzuki's and this one popped up at a great price, fully legal and I just couldn't resist the opportunity.
If you don't see a video in the next week... presume I catapulted into Laos or smashed into the back of a Tuktuk!
Mods, maintenance and upgrades are already planned, but with a supercharger and turbo kit on 2xbmw project cars, its going to be a bit tricky to fit it all in.
Plus I am going on a island beach holiday for Christmas so.... we will see.

Camera: The new glorious Olympus M5 Mk3 6k down-scaled to 4k, recorded at 100mbps and custom compressed to 13.5mbps for KZbin.
Lens: Panasonic Leica 12mm F1.4
Microphone: Rode Wireless Go

I'm on my second B-King. The body parts he says are upgrades are really stock on the bike. Also, stock, the bike ships with 181 HP at the crank not 200 HP. He doesn't know this bike at all.

True is true. maybe he was a bit drunk. Amazing how putting new Dual Compound Rosso III Pirellies completely transformed the handling on the B-King. So much better now!

My bike wasn’t stock has a full yoshi system. After the tuning it was putting well over those figures. I can’t get tyres that grip, it just leaves black lines everywhere

Missed the boat on one of these back in 08..... When I saw one with a Yoshi tail, I was in love.... Fast forward to now..... After a long search, found a perfect one local pop up outta the blue finally. Orig scared senior owner, always ridden B mode, yoshi tail, sliders and screen, 2k miles and black model...... Always loved it, poor guy just couldnt ride it anymore. A very easy 6k handed over to the gent and Ive been a VERY happy man!! Ridden and owned alot of fast super bikes and this one is.... A perfect match of everything..... This ones a keeper for me.....

My B-king made 176 hp at the wheel. All stock with Remus exhaust and power commander.

Dyno charts show 158 horsepower for a stock bike, BHP is around 181 The bike produces a tested 162.97 hp (122 kW) and 85.72 lb·ft (116 N·m) of torque.

Loved my B-King , completely Gutted when I had to sell it found it at a Suzuki Dealer in Liverpool 3 years old only had 7 miles on the clock someone bought it in 2010 and put in in a collection dealer told me there were six people ogling it I put a deposit on it straight away dealer said those 6 faces were a classic when he wheeled it off the showroom floor beauty of a bike.

Sorry the SV650 is better than the MT07. Tried both. The SV was £1200 cheaper for the same performance and has a bit better suspension.

What a Beautiful Beast. I have the gsr 600, n it's a veRy nice bike but I would Love one of these, I would never finance, but If I were to save for another bike, it would be for a big B, Amazing bike.

Great bike that, revvy little thing. Funnily enough the first time I rode he Bking I got of a gsr600 as my housemate at the time upgraded from that bike and let me ride them back to back before I hoped on my tunes bandit 1250. The 1250 has more torque below 3000rpm which honestly I prefer, but the Bking has the handling, brakes and that mental pull after 4K!

@@TheBenchmarkuk The gsr really is a great bike, excellent 1st bigger bike, very confidence inspiring, it is low on torque but the hp makes up for it lower down, it catapults through 2nd 3rd n 4th, I haven't tried a high torque bike yet, n I'm eager to do so, my next bike might be the 1200 or 1250 bandit, they're alot of bike for the money, the weight puts me off abit though because I have to drag the bike to get it out of my house for work, but one day, One DaY!! I will have the Beast 😄👍🏼

I don't know if this helps but the cable under the seat to open the rear seat I added a key ring to make it easier / stay safe brother

Haha someone stole my first comment so heres another very similar, so I bought one of these new about a year into production 2008 ish, absolutely bonkers bike & yeah the rear end is fuggly so it had to be changed for a similar set up to yours, only ever had it maxed out once and even flat on the tank it takes some holding on & face squished against the visor lol, had it de-restricted and all that malarkey, they still fetch really good money in the uk.
