It's nice to see a young man who goes about his life, speaks of his life in such a natural and eloquent way and so down to earth. He's someone you could meet and have a great conversation about anything. Not all hung up about fame. He's enjoying doing what he loves to do--write music, sing songs that people really relate to, and make people happy. I would advise easing up on the alcohol. Alcohol is sneaky bitch that will hook you, damage you and have no mercy on you when you realize it and want out. You're a good guy--you'd be having a blast on your own natural high. If you can't be yourself and enjoy life without it, that's your wake up call.

Ed is spot on about the "man with guitar" thing....i actually think it really counts in your favour if you write songs(possibly a little more actually). I'm also a songwriter(and lyrically prolific...just means i write in quantity...but it's the quality which most are interested in)...but i only demo songs and don't play instruments but people are drawn to you(male and female), when they ask you what you do....and you tell them...SONGWRITER. I still think that many folk(more than folk know) are drawn to the actual PROCESS of songwriting. Sort of like "SO HOW DO YOU THINK OF A SONG?...HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO WRITE A LYRIC?, etc, etc, etc". A great example of this was, that, up until four or five years ago, i was running down a small Deep Cleaning business to go for it and focus more on making a living at music). I was always invited to my wife's Works Christmas party and got to see an angle i'd never thought of before, about the way folk react to what you do for a living. That Christmas my wife left me with about six folk to go socialising around the hall. All of those folk in turn asked me "what do you do for a living? I told them i ran a small Deep Cleaning business. Very little interest. Hardly any response or conversation returned(slightly ignorant if truth be known). The following year(bear in mind i wrapped up the business to focus more on writing, co-writing and was releasing songs on a label of my own within that next year..Sonic Foxx Music) and i was pretty much left with the same amount of folk on two tables the following Christmas party. Within a few minutes, my wife went off again(her right..to talk to other members of her staff) and i was astonished when one of them said.."your wife told me you are a professional songwriter now...how did that come about". The only thing was, she had drunk some wine and didn't realise how loud she'd said it. Within about five minutes, practically every person on two tables parked closely together was either firing questions into me or tapping into their phones to listen to one of my co-writers singing on the Sonic Foxx Music area. Suddenly, three separate folk had three songs i'd co-written playing. My wife appeared and to say she was speechless might have been an understatement of great magnitude. It certainly was an interesting conversation going home. The reason i'm writing this here was because four folk on that table asked if i personally knew Ed Sheeran.Mind-boggling popularity and a huge wake-up call to somebody starting out in and around music...especially a guy who two years before was pushing a mop around the floor for a living...not that there is anything wrong with the Cleaning World...they are good folk(most of them)...and i'm sure Ed Sheeran is...that could be an interesting conversation with Ed one day...you never know.

I don't wear make-up unless it's a special occasion. It feels like I have cake mix on my face. And besides, I rub my eyes, and touch my face a lot, and I'd hate to have mascara tears. So... I don't wear shit unless it's a special occasion. Otherwise, if ANY at all, I'd wear lip stick or lip gloss. Not much at all. I have long eyelashes and blushy rosy cheeks as well... so that's a plus and a half, right.

No Ed, when i was young and took showers in the morning b4 school i would wrap in my towel and go lay back in bed also lol, so its not just you! I just never called it anything lol.. Its very comforting as a matter of fact, and its probably something you relate with your childhood that makes you feel calm and secure which is Incredible! I think the same way about make-up as ed lol I'm glad he thinks that way, girls spend way too much time trying to turn themselves into pretty dolls whre as it shouldn't matter, your natural face is good enough, stop trying to impress others by putting on make-up that is just making other girls more self concious and making them feel like they have to put on make-up in order to look pretty or attractive which is basically saying your natural face is not good enough which is not true.
