The issue with the whole Trump disinfectant thing is that it's actually not as dumb as you think. It's kinda how we go about cancer treatments today. We have substances, chemical or radioactive or other, that are really good at killing cells, and we target them at the cancerous cells. This is because we don't have much for some cancers that can specifically target the tumours, so we use this approach. It's like amputating off a leg to save the human. Would be almost impossible with COVID, since we can't survive without lungs, but if it was only in one lung we could potentially remove it to save the other from a potential infection, as most healthy people can survive with only one lung.

well i think we don't need to be alarmed, lockdown changed our perception of time, or at least my perception of time - I see myself thinking in "before covid" and "during covid" categories and, all that was before covid kind of melts together - like the Dunkirk comment, I get that he would be confused about that! time flows differently when all you can do is sit at home... I agree that he does seem quite out of it but I think he’s just a bit pissed-maybe his tolerance level for social drinking got diminished during COVID and he went a bit off-piste? I find the same level of alcohol can effect you more in a large social situation than if you’re just quaffing with a friend or partner in a low key way. It is weird to see though, because he normally outclasses absolutely everyone on these kinds of shows, with the exception of Stephen Fry.
