Zeus 2 sports generally the same graphics as Zeus but with some differences in game play. Unlike the original, bonus symbols now only appear on reels 1, 2, and 3 instead of all reels. This means you always trigger the bonus for 10 free games although you have the opportunity to retrigger for more spins. The second difference is that the reels are 4x5 instead of 3x5 allowing for different line-hit combinations. The pay tables are also different where a full screen of Zeus will pay less than the original. Wild symbols also only appear in reels 2, 3, 4, and 5 in Zeus II.
The new feature in Zeus 2 is the "Hot Hot Super Respin" feature which is essentially an extra bet you're paying to qualify for and is triggered by landing a full column of Zeus in reel 1 at which point the reels continue to spin with all Zeus and Wild symbols become sticky for the remainder of the feature. After the triggering spin is complete, you are awarded 2 more spins giving you 3 spins in total to "Fill the Screen" for the Top Award, as you will see! Variations of this feature can be seen in Tiger's Realm, Palace of Riches III, and even the new Zeus: Son of Kronos!
During the bonus, stacked wilds are added and the Respin feature more frequently occurs. ‎Like many of these classic WMS games, the sound effects and music are top-notch, Enjoy!

So on the one hand, I agree with you, and the payout for that full screen was $1875. Looking at the pay table, I was very surprised to see that other premium symbols PAY THE SAME as the Zeus symbol, so it shares the top spot! It's the nature of the game though, given the respin feature.

It's like some of the old classic games where there are these bits and pieces that are there, but you rarely encounter. It's like in classic Zeus, hitting the 5 symbol trigger: there's a sound I'd love to hear, but have not so far!

It is not predetermined, When 4 reels are stacked during the respins feature and there are still spins remaining the sound is pitched up a bit and accelerated to account for the shorter time duration needed because of only one reel to respin. You can also hear it for two reels but it is a little more subtle. Believe me,. I have had 4 of 5 reels stacked during a respin and only got junk on the final reel. Sucks most when you have reels 1,3,4,5 stacked and then hear the cool sound effect but only get a horse, vase, coins, etc. on the second reel!!!! Still nice hit!!!!

Came across this old video if yours. Nice hit on full screen . However for a $10 bet a 240x payout I find is a little low. Years ago remember on a machine on a $.50 minimum bet got bonus hit for 2,234x . Those days are long gone. Today a Big Win is 50x - 100x and an average win is in the 5x - 25x range. The RTPs are lower now(Aug 17 2019)than ever before. And if this trend continues as casinos get bigger and more expensive the lower the payouts.

The one thing about payouts on Full Screens is that you certainly need to take into account how the game plays - a full screen on this machine for example is much easier to do then say the original Zeus so I'll take the 240x for sure!
